Marvelous and insightful adventure with real human characters, thought provoking reflections and genuine earnesty which is rare to find in a video game. Metaphor perfects JRPG systems by making them ejoying, flexible and varied. You are never stuck in this game and is always moving forward toward both mechanichly and thematicly. I found much excitement by exploring and living out in the world of Euchronia.
It was my first Metroid game. And after playing it for 7 hours, I could not force myself to finishing it. After first 3 hours, it's just been a torture playing it, deciphering what developers expect me to do. For being an aboslutely unapolagetically liniar game, it quite often leaves you hanging not realising how to progress the story or the dungeon. But once you realise, what is required, you would wish you had never did so in the first place. Because gamedesign in this game is flawed in too many aspects too ignore it. The biggest flaw for me, which forced me to stop playing it, is that - You are given an illusion that you can explore and find things in this world freely, but you can't. The exploration and progression is completely liniar, you can't make any meaningfull choice. At the same time the only unlockable doors which exist are unecessarry and give only extra bullets. It's not only liniar, but very stupidly liniar, even worse than any Rockstar mission with a progression marker. To the point when it's no longer fun, and you just suffer through this dull gamedesign. Your time here is completely wasted.
It's a good story, but a bad game. It would have been much better to just watch this as a movie, because writing is especially solid. So to not waste any time on uninspiring combat mechanics, reading endless notes, struggling with dull puzzles, seeing the same 3 types of enemies, deal with optimisation issues, having a poker-face expression while playing and having absolutely nothing to be feared of. New gameplay direction has failed, but I'm hopeful that we will see more such well-written psychological horror stories also in the future.
Silksong is unmatched among 2d platformers. Challanging, but infinitely satysfing gameplay is this game's trademark. Coupled with astonishing artistic direction and environamental design. You are immeresed in an unforgettable atmosphere of an unknown wonder. Discovering everyting this mystical world has to offer. I am impressed by how Team Cherry managed to deapen the gameplay by investing a lot of time to meticulously craft many exciting boss fights, which after each completion deepen your connection to Hornet as your ingame avatar.
I'm in love with the visuals of this game! Racing is more fun than ever before, more chaos and more exitment! I completed the story mode, and got 7000 in knock out gamemode. I would say my journey with this game has just began, there is so much you can learn about this tracks, all the hidden passages, shortcuts. Why not 10? As a first 80$ game we should hold it to the likes of Cyberpunk and Red Dead Redemption 2, and the contents of the game are lacking compared to these mastepireces. We have very few open world activities, which was among main selling points. We have only 3 gamemodes, which are all awesome, but why not more? We don't have any special characters from another franchices, only Mario ones. The rail mechanic is underwhelming for an average player, and very hard to execute. It is a premium game, but nothing here justifies 80$. Maybe it's a new economic reality that we must accept, or maybe it's just not worth it. Despite all that I had a ton of fun with this game, and is specificly tailored for group play, 8/10 is well deserved!
It fails to surprise beyond it's 5 hour mark. The gameplay is repetative with same objectives and enemies. Music is a big downside, it's very quite and kicks in only a few times through 15 hours. At the same time I'm not a big fan of exploration, and I feel often pressured to explore by quest objectives, and often I cannot find the last thing I need which wastes a lot of time I could've just spend on fighting demons. Despite all that the gunplay is fun, I like to jogle different weapons, and level them up to get a golden skin. Though I wish this game had more bosses, and unique enemies, not the same shilded enemie with a different skin. I've also enjoyed the story, and cinematics feel epic and grandiose.
I'm shokkinly surprised how masterfully fresh french developers craftet this state of the art JRPG which surpasses even Persona 5 in its action-combat elements. They give you an ability to controll the fight, respond and adapt. No MP, but pure skill, reaction time and attention is rewarded, that is something I want to see forward in other JRPGs. It just sooo fun to experimet and make new strategies which, however dumb they are, can work, thanks to a skill-based turn combat. Story is magnificient, it's poetic, it's metaphoricly astonisshing, gripping, tounching. I was crying several times during the playthrough. Developers managed to craft a world which fully engrocces you. You pay attention to small detailes, which pays in the long run. I've expected many twist and turns of the story, but what came at the end is a pure excellency. I don't remember any game stories which integrated discovery of many worlds mysteries so ellegantly and naturally as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 did. I applaud this game. It's a marvel, where story, gameplay, visuals, music, voice acting are so impacable that I am lost for words. A true beauty!
Magnificent game. The story, characters, gameplay, Night City, everything in this game is top notch. Gameplay-wise it's a pure joy, you can ch oose, alter and combine different fighting styles to play the character you want in an rpg-manner. A stealth-hacker, a maniac-psycho, or a little bit of both. Hell, you can just take a katana, a bat, or a knife and each of them will offer a unique fighting experience which would affect your battle tactic and style.I adore NIght City, how it's painstaikingly beuatifull in it's ugliness. Miticulously crafted city which feels alive, I dare say the most vibrant city in all of video games. City's characteris vissible everywhere and it's deeply tied with the story. The future we fear the most, almost a distopic one harbours many stories which are all too familiar even in our day of age. People's vengance, friendship, politics, trust and ideals play out in a world with deeply distorted morality, but where some of them still retain the sense of self through connections with others. Cyberpunk may be a 2077 dispoian-world, but it's far too familiar for us today, which will often scare you in the playthorugh, and make reconsider something you took for granted, even alter your convictions, and ultimately make a great memory.

I like the gameplay a lot, it is more fun and versatile than rpg-system in Like a dragon (7). Arsenal consists of four gadgets on top of two figting styles with a number of moves and combinations. The story is however felt short and non-consequensial, you can say filler, for those who already played part 7, almost evertything would be predictable from the start. I appreciated the effort they made to flesh out cerrtain aspects of new life for Kiryu. But I left the game, wanting more, even after finishing all of side content and getting a platinum trophy. I did not have the same felling in Like a dragon (7). Gaiden is simple, but I feel like it's its strength as a fun, short and toching adventure for 10-30 hours. Thus I would give it a 7 as a good game, but nothing outstanding.
My favourite RPG With fascinating and engaging story that is directly tied to the gameplay. And a great playstile variabilty, as well as replayability. I have played 40 hours in total - 4 times for the Lisa and 2 times for the expansion to it, I loved every minute.
