i haven't touched a basketbal game in over 6 years, but i was in shock on how bad this game plays, the controls are slow, you really don't have the feeling you got control over your character. It's also very hard to understand anything from this game if you are not well known with anything basketball related, so if you just want to start a game and play a quick game of b-ball, forget it, i have never seen a sports game with such a big learning curve, and there is a no tutorial at all, they just got some badly written tutorial videos with a voice over from a NBA player who doesn't sound like he wanted to voice them at all. To be able to do some simple defense you have to pull so many moves your sticks i am not even bothering to do it anymore. And than their is the My Career mode, avoid like the plague, your guy starts up as a wash up who did not even get drafted, and it shows why, he can't hit even hit the basket from 2 meters without a defender putting pressure on him. And the A.I is just terrible, i am in a perfect open position and my team just wont pass me the ball, instead the guy with the ball just stands there dribbling away until the shot timer is over. Your player also seems to be the main target to be defended while if i don't do anything, my team just rushes through their defense. And talking about teammates, even my teammates can't hit a ball, when my guy got transferred to the L.A Lakers, even Koby Bryant was missing shots that the real Bryant would be ashamed for. And the biggest is with My Career is that they reward you after a match with VC cash, with this you can upgrade your character. But they give you so little, you might as well not bother, the main reason why they give this cash in such little amount is because you also have the option to just buy VC with real money, so why would i bother with doing well if a can just cheap out and max my guy out with real money? Overall i am having just no fun with this, they made it way to realistic and the fun is far to find, this game is only worth it if you are really good with the previous versions of series and are a basketball nut. If you are a beginner, avoid this game. Oh yeah, did they also mention its a whopping 35 gig for PC? Good luck with downloading that if your ISP restricts you in the amount of GB you can download a month!

I haven't touched a soccer game since PES 2006, and seeing i bought a new gamepad for my pc, i wanted to try this one after the FIFA 14 demo, i am amazed how the menu's still look just as horrible as they did in 2006! The graphics are ok, they do, the animations are good, but the thing that bugs the hell out of me in the game is these terrible controls, it just doesn't work, you really dont have the feeling you got control over you players, and they also added some pressure system, to put pressure on the player with the ball, this basically is just your players rushing towards the dude with the ball, most of the time this ends up you kicking the crap out of the guy and you got the ball, its that simple to get the ball. The difficulty is also very very strange, at one moment i'm absolutely destroying a A+ team with 8-1, and the next i can't even beat the lowest rated team there is... Looks like i will stick to Fifa this year to restock my interest for a soccer game.

I try and make this as straight forward as possible and not come over as a fanboy, even though i have been a great fan of the series since they went full 3D with GTA 3. It's probably the most hyped game since the last GTA release, even people robbing people from their game when they bought it at a store! But beside that. Rockstar always tries to make their next GTA better than the last one, and they did! In GTA IV people were missing the huge map and fun activities you could do in GTA San Andreas, that is now returned, we have a huge map, allot of activities, you can just do a bike race, a triathlon or take your dog Chop to the beach and throw a ball. With the help of a real app for Itunes called iFruit you can make chop a better dog, like learning tricks and such that will benefit you in game as well! Only downside now for this app is that its using the Rockstar Social Club servers and they have been so busy since release it can't be used. The graphics look good, i did not expect a big improvement over the last GTA, but they sure did their best to make it look great and try and keep a stable framerate for a already outdated hardware. When you are driving real fast the framerate will take a dip down, but this was also present in the release version of GTA IV, they managed to fix that in a patch. I have no doubt we will get a patch soon. Only big downside on the graphics is the lack of Anti Aliasing so you got allot of jaggy edges going on. But for the current performance of the game i can live with that. The characters as always are very fitting for a GTA world, but this time they seem to be a mix of three previous GTA main characters, Michael look like a high roller from Vice City, Franklin like CJ from San Andreas, and Trevor more like Nico from GTAIV, only completely insane (how insane you might ask? He deviled a teddybear at one moment, thats how crazy!) The physics have been improved allot as well, cars handle more precise than in the previous GTA, where i crashed more than i wanted too! The rag-doll physics also are a great improvement and i can tell they used them prior in Max Payne 3. The fighting system also has gotten a needed improvement, and it can lead to funny scenes on the streets, especially when you cheap shot someone and knock him out in one punch. The missions are allot better, and they are allot more diverse than the previous GTA's, what i like the most was during the start of the game, when you start as Franklin, you are a repo men. Meaning you had to steal back cars from people who did not pay for them anymore! Basically making Grand Theft Auto Legal Theft Auto, but the main idea is still there! A funny addition to Franklin is Chop, that eventually becomes your dog, you can take him around for a walk, throw a ball around and when someone attacks you, he will take that guy out! Back to the missions, the big missions, are heists, they bring you more back into the heist instead of just go to the place and start the mission, like for the first heist, you rob a jewelry store, do you go in with allot of violence and witnesses? Or do you throw in sleeping gas in the AC and nobody will see you and escape quikly? If you choose the sleeping gas method, you have to a Exterminators fan and sleeping gas, choose the right crew for your mission, if you cheap out on one of your crew members, as i did with the guy who handled the weapons, you could loose a cut (of the profit) seeing he was very poor in his driving skills and crashed head on against a bridge while trying to escape on bikes. And there are of course more side missions from helping out strangers or mission that involve around the three main characters. The thing that stood out the most for me was how they made Los Santos even more feel like a real alive city than the previous GTA cities, when you are in Franklins neighborhood, basically a ghetto, you will see gang bangers around the corner, including with a guy on a small bike! Hookers, drunks and bums can be found in the alleys. If you go towards the beach area, that seems to be heavily inspireed by the area of Miami's Muscle Beach, you will encounter musicians, big muscled guys working out and people on the beach, and the beach really is a beach now, with towels, surfboards, lots of people sun bathing and the life guard towers are manned as well, there are even people swimming in the sea. If you walk across the beach shore, you eventually even come across a place where you can enter a triathlon! Where you start with swimming, than biking, and than running! your physical health also comes in play this time, run more, and you can sprint longer, shoot more, you get to become more handy with weapons! Overall, the game has been improved allot since GTA IV, and we havent even seen GTA Online yet with what looks to become very promising!

This game is a horrible mess from the start, you will be messing around with the controls constantly, i have been playing the game for 7 hours now, and still i can't get the hang of it, and this is not even the worst of the game, enemy a.i will only attack you in the sky, they have unlimited flares while you only get like 4 or 5, and your friendly a.i is useless as well, during many missions you need to take out a transport plane or a missile, your teammates state every time they will keep the fighters off your back, NOT. You will be bombarded with missiles and bullets until you evade the enemy, meaning you will lose track of your target and it's game over. And the worst thing about the game is, leaders of enemy squads cant be taken out in the old Ace Combat style, now you have to use a stupid dog fight mode. Another series ruined because people want more arcade hollywood action in their game.

I have been a mount & blade player since the first offline game game to be, so i was happy to hear the publisher of the game, with another studio started making something similar, during the beta it was fun, but lacking, thinking this probably will be fixed in the final version, i was wrong. What we now have is a game that is nothing but a blatant high res copy of the brilliant Mount & Blade Warband but without the awesome Siege mode. All you do is either just play deathmatch or capture the flag. The fighting system needs more work seeing its way to slow and most of the time you end up against 5 enemies hacking you to pieces. 1 on 1 fights are really rare. The game was allot better in the beta, i don't know what they did to it to make it so different. The game also offers a bleed out system, even though this realistic, it ruins the gameplay, mainly because i always get a bleed out when i finally am fighting a good fight for once versus 1 guy and not 5 and just drop dead after 10 seconds. Also squad members spawning on each other is something just something straight out of Battlefield, something that is not needed in this game. Just when you are about to kill a guy, his buddies magically spawn around you and you are dead. But the game has a future if the developer listens to its community and fixes bugs and other annoyances, i am hope for a Siege mode!

People here must have really low standards, i bought it last week just because people here said it was not as bad as in the reviews, wrong, half of the moves don't respond right even though i calibrate my move wands constantly, one match you are doing fine, but if one wand gets out of sight just once, it will pull the calibration out of balance and your are screwed. Talking about screwing, they screw you big time with the cheats, you buy like one for 99 cent, but you can only use it 10 times or you have to buy it again! And for like stamina it barely works! I also bought the gimme all kind of dlc, so i could max my character, but it didn't help at all. One match you knock one out easy, the next one you get owned again by A.I that has a harder head than a steel beam even though you max out to the top. The camera positions are awful, you can choose different angles, but not one can give you correct info on where you should hit your opponent, with the standard camera angle you can't even see what your opponent is doing below the waist. Doing dirty moves is also messed up for most of them, I'm performing them perfectly and sometimes the system still does not performs them correctly, i also tried to do them in different speeds. Thank god i bought this game out of the bargain bin and not spend 60 euro's when it was released. I like how you really have to work for it, but you have to work for it too much. A little less would have been nicer. Let's hope IF we get a The Fight 2, they will learn from their mistakes.

Had this one lying in my game collection since 2009 when i bought it for like 10 bucks, back than i already hated the controls, now i picked it up and it hasn't aged well at all, awful controls, awful A.I. Your character just punch and kicks whatever he wants to, remembering their moves is impossible, after i almost broke my controller i stopped the game, removed the disc and snapped it in half. The only thing this disc is good for is to be recycled so i hope that in one day a good game will be stamped on it.

The graphics have been tuned and so has the fighting mechanism, but in my book, towards the bad, when it comes to the Fight Now mode, its a blast, but when you start the Legacy Mode, the fun is gone, even when you encounter fighters that are way below your skills they will still beat you by one point, even when you have knocked his *ss on the ground! Online pretty much is a disaster, spammers, brawlers and belt holders that wont even dare to fight anything that comes near their level. I had the most fun in the Champion Mode, but when you come to the end, the game shows its ugly head again, the champion you have to fight is so overpowered, you would think he is either a android or a alien...

I started this game with not so much expectation, but i was surprised on how great **** this is! It holds a great atmosphere and manages to give a real feeling you are in a nuclear holocaust Russia, when played on the highest graphic settings the game shows some great eye candy, only the human faces look sterile and dead in their eyes... I enjoyed the overall length of the game, not too short, not too long... The game does hold some flaws, the enemy A.I can be considered idiotic, from enemies who will take cover next to your ally or take cover just in front of you... The amount of weapons found in the game are meager and nothing to write to home about. The strongest rifles can be bought at stations but since this is a nuclear world and money does no longer exists, bullets have become currency, but you need every bullet you can find to survive so getting that nifty sniper rifle is not happening any time soon. The creatures also seem to have a strange way of attacking you, they charge and than seem to go straight through you, making you go nuts on where the heck they are! A disappointment for this game is there is no multiplayer component at all! This could have given the game a allot longer lifespan... But overall its a great game to enjoy if you have some money to spare, and looking how the game ends, expect some DLC or a part two in the future...
