I saw The Mandalorian and Grogu in IMAX and 3D to give it the best chance, and it was okay—it is a kids' movie, aimed at tweens. "Family Movie" There was nothing really to object to; it had some good values--friendship, loyalty, money isn't everything. Visually stunning, a lot of sublinal nods to Firefly, Blade Runner, and earlier Star Wars movies. Yes, women are in charge, but not in a purple-haired condescending way. You could see the merchandise tie-ins from a mile away, as you could see the video game and Disney rides it will spawn. It is going to do better than the naysayers say, but it isn't going to be a record breaker. Fresh, 3 Stars. OK

This classic naval comedy is revered among submariners; a misfit crew takes a derelict WW2 submarine against a modern nuclear fleet, what an underdog story. It is funny. It is unique. It is a great movie.

I loved this film. It had a heart. Yes, it is pro-AI -- and the people of South Asia defeated the American army, but we were just wrong about them, ok?

Fairly enjoyable documentary; my wife was definitely more into it than I was. Not everyone from the Brat Pack agreed to be interviewed, so he had to fill in with some randos.

Maybe it helps to be a boomer. I loved it. Real Comedy has been rare recently and this was pure comedy gold.

Outstanding performance by an all-star cast, an excellent mystery that kept me guessing until the end. Great cinematography.

The plot just does not make sense! Ultra low budget. Terrible action scenes, hero is one shot one kill, the bad guys are star wars storm trooper level accurate. And no the local dam in Georgia doesn't have a hotline to the NSA, and the NSA doesn't have a 15 minute response ti e to eural georgia. jeez.

Never a dull moment... this was almost a modern retelling of Frankenstein, with a great twist. I really enjoyed this film, even though I am an actual neuroscientist.

I was hoping there was a fresh idea here, not just milking our memories of when movies were great for a quick buck, but no, it's just older and woker, and sad. Just watch the original Matrix Movies, and forget any of the sequels, including this one, ever happened.

Disturbing, depressing, tedious at times. NOT a comedy, horror fantasy is probably the right genre.

I really wish they still made movies like this. hilarious rom-com, battle of the sexes, win-win feel good movie.

People say this is a remake of John Wick, but the Dodge Charger is WHITE not BLACK and it is a CAT not a dog. but otherwise, it is just a terrible day to be a Russian Mobster.

This is a really fascinating movie; fast-paced, funny, it revived Robert Downey's career but should have also done the same for Val Kilmer. Really holds your attention, wow, I am glad I rented it.

This is an amazing movie, with lovingly drawn characters with intricate back stories, the actor selection is amazing-- a dead ringer for Steve McQueen, Charles Manson, Squeaky Fromm, Tex, the whole Manson family. No expense spared recreating Hollywood 1969. Loving details--you could watch it 100 times and catch new details each time. Yes, I saw Samuel L. Jackson playing cards in the corner of the saloon.

Has amusing elements, but overall it is kind of a mess. Not wild about the new ending. Not wild about the cultural changes. I know it is hard to make a live-action remake of a beloved animated classic, but maybe you shouldn't do that anyway.
