As much as I want my nostalgia to cloud this game, I cannot deny the reality that this game really does not hold up well. The Skee-ball game is unresponsive, along with the darts game. The Bowing and Foosball seem like lazy creations of games that should be fun. Half of the games perform under what should be expected, even for shovelware like this game. I enjoyed it growing up but replaying it now just makes me realize further that the game was made for kids and nothing more. If you are looking for a Wii Game, this would not be one I would recommend to buy, when you have much better "minigame" options such as Wii Sports or Wii Play, just to name a few. It's very similar to Game Party and unfortunately should be rated as such.

I think this game is splendid, I’ve got 85 hours in it already and I can’t wait to get more in. Fun Pokédex, amazing focus on multiple stories, and honestly just fun! I’d feel criminal giving it less than a ten.

This game gets way too much hate for what it is. I don’t think it’s a great game even compared to legends: Arceus, but it’s a nostalgic trip for those of us who played gen 4. Not a great game to start the series but I think if you’re a Pokémon fan looking to spend some time in a fun game this is definitely it.

I think that this game is very creative and great as a first game for kids! It does have some problems, like the 32 level upload cap, but it’s got basically infinite content (endless mode), so it’s perfect for long road trips. Definitely a good purchase for someone of any skill level as it covers a wide scope.
