Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising
7

Unlike many players, I actually quite enjoyed playing Uprising upon the release - it brings a few funny new levels, new units but more importantly a challenge mode with some more challenging missions to tackle.

Red Alert 3 is certainly a worse game than its predecessor but it is still beautiful and the campaign is fun to finish. Although it is childish story- and difficulty-wise and there's no much replayability potential. However, playing a co-op with a friend could be fun!

A decent RTS, not the best one in the series, but certainly worth playing at least for the C&C atmosphere and cool cast.

It is fun to see the battleground from the point of view of the GDI soldier. Although the single-player campaign is sometimes too easy it is still very enjoyable. Multiplayer was great at the time, not sure what it is like now.

The game is surprisingly good - graphics are decent and the gameplay as actually fun. I'm not sure what it is like on higher levels (didn't play the game for that long) but the first hundred(s) of battles were balanced, nicely paced and kept me playing. There are things you can pay for, but there's no need to do so. It's no Generals for sure, not even Tiberium Wars but it is a decent game set in the world of Command & Conquer.

Retribution is a huge step-down and while offering a whole new faction to play by it offers nothing new (if not much less) contentwise. Really disappointing but playable title if you are a fan.

Overall improvement to the original Dawn of War II this expansion offers a new polished experience with better tactics and the story. Every unit in your squad feel precious and unexpandable and you feel like you live through all the tough battles with them.

So different from the original Dawn of War it can surprise you. But it is great. It has an amazing atmosphere, nice story and really fun gameplay much closer to Warhammer 40 000 lore than the original games were.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
8
User ScoreKilledShinigami
Nov 15, 2019
Space Marine gave us what we wanted to do for a long time - play as an actual space marine and kill thousands of enemies in the name of the emperor. And for some time it works and the gameplay is fun. After a few hours, it begins to feel a bit repetitive as there are just a few types of enemies. The main story is ok but nothing special. Multi-player was just broken (doesn't matter anyway now many years later). Overall a nice game, especially for the Warhammer 40 000 fans.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade
10
User ScoreKilledShinigami
Nov 15, 2019
My favourite expansion for the original Dawn of War. It adds several new races and mechanics and has a brand new campaign based on the conquering of the planets part by part. The last thing as actually a downgrade compared to the original and Winter Assault expansion as it's not a well-written story but just a series of levels poorly connected to each other. What it lacks in storytelling is totally compensated by the great gameplay with diverse factions and applicable tactics.

The game has breathtaking graphics and atmosphere, it was exactly what I've imagined while reading the books. Also, the story is nice but the main gameplay is so simple and uninspired that it can bore you after a few hours. But still a great title and up to date one the few good Warhammer Fantasy games we have.

As a fan of Petz 5, a thought the new (at the time) game is going to be even more fun and I was very disappointed. It has little content and becomes boring after like an hour of play. It may be a good game for some children but I wouldn't recommend it.

One of the best pet simulator I've ever played. It has so many easters eggs, items and little funny things you can do it is actually fun to play. Everything from animation style to the way you interact with many cats you can get is just adorable. The best part is that you can let your pets to enter your desktop and play there!

A great turn-based tactical game that is really suitable for the handheld and offers a few hours of sufficiently challenging battles. It could have had more variety in terms of races, guns etc. but it's still is a worthwhile title and a must-play for any Warhammer 40 000 fan!

Granted it was the first (and for o long time the only) first-person shooter set in the world of Warhammer 40 000, I kind of loved it. But it's not a great game, at times it feels dull and uninspired. So if you're not a hardcore Warhammer 40 000 fan, just skip it.

Based on a comic book The Red Star has well-designed setting despite subpar graphics (even for the PS2). It's a nice and simple beat 'em up with RPG elements and the gameplay is still very enjoyable. The best thing is that most of the combo moves are inspired by philosophical works or concepts!

Amazing game to play with friends or at least with one friend, it really loses a bit if you play alone. The game has nice but not breathtaking visuals, okay-ish soundtrack but cool rouge-like gameplay with a variety of different guns to use, artefacts to get and monsters to kill. Perks of the playable characters make them really different and change the way you play. At times it is too addictive and it's hard to stop but maybe it's just me.

A unique and memorable game where you roll eggs to kill enemies and then hatch them to get various items and creatures that will help you fight against the Evil. It is simple but fun and has an adorable character design and story. Not to mention the great soundtrack. One of those games that seemed weird at the time of release but now it's obvious it stands out. Shame it sold poorly and didn't get any enhanced sequel or remake.

Angvik is surprisingly great for a game that has like 5 short levels. You can go through them using one of the basic classes like the warrior, mage etc. or just go with random which will also set difficulty much lower. Somehow it just works, it's legit fun to play for a few hours.

Also, why hasn't it been ported to switch yet? Still a wonderful platformer though!
