The Last of Us Part II Remastered10
Jan 20, 2024
The PS4 version was already an excellent game due to the added game mechanics and great story telling which was an emotional rollercoaster ride. What appeals to me most about the PS5 upgrade (I am playing on a 4K television prioritizing graphics) is that humans look very lifelike, especially their appearance (physics) and emotional facial expressions. When it comes single player games, what matters is consistent frame rate, and I couldn't complain anything about it because the game was very smooth and cinematic.

Countering jelly Playstation fanboys with a 10/10 score although I own a PS5 myself. Stop **** and get yourself a proper PC/GPU instead of review bombing.

Even the Nintendo 16 and Sega Genesis looked better than this. This version is just plain awful, not even worth $2.50 since I haven't even played it since I purchased it over two years ago.

The game is great for those who are hardcore fans of the game or for those who have never experienced TLOU. As for everyone else, you have no grounds to complain about it being the same exact game but with improved graphics that is sold at regular price because you don't fall in neither category mentioned. You can go on your merry way and play TLOU Remastered to your hearts content and not bomb review for mere price disagreement because the product is not geared towards you.

Great cinematic experience that fuses games such as Doom III and Mortal Kombat series into one game. The gore is extremely satisfying to watch either when one inflicts damage on the enemy or receives the coup de grâce him or herself. Bonus is that players may skip it altogether and quickly restart from the automatic save at any time. Gameplay resemble QTE where there isn't a window to dodge; simply alternate left and right on the analog stick prior to the enemy's attack and counter in a series of attacks in a timely manner and repeat the process--the melee gameplay is extremely satisfying regardless of the outcome of the fight. The dodge mechanics may appear difficult in the beginning, however, with practice, it is not, even on the hardest settings. The game run excellent at near constant framerate of 60 fps on performance and 30 fps with raytracing. Overall, this game should satisfy old school horror fans due to its cinematography/atmosphere and rewarding game mechanics.

I've only played about a few hours into this game but it is impossible to enjoy it for longer periods of time because the game gives me a headache due to its frame rate. The game does not run smoothly. It appears to stutter. I'm a PC gamer who is accustomed to 60 FPS so if you are a life/exclusive console gamer then I believe the game would be excellent for you--ignorance is bliss. I've deducted 5 points solely because of that reason. Otherwise the game is near perfect in terms of visuals and mood it presents.

There is only one word that can describe this game. FUN! This is all that matters! This game has been drastically improved over its predecessor(s). Quit whining about how this game is the same as the previous game! Whose problem is it if you didn't read the reviews which specifically warned you about it before you've purchased the game? Absolutely yours.

The game feels like a super fun co-op arcade third person shooter during the first 15 minutes I survived on Gold (hardest) mode. The game reminds me of Dungeon and Dragons with its type of enemies. Unfortunately, even with a very good rig, the game only runs at 45 FPS regardless if the setting is on high or low, but it is dam worth the $8.99 I spent.

I rate this game at 9.5; it excels in all categories. Although this game was released in '08, the graphics are amazing. This game is Alien (movie), Doom 3, and Resident Evil all wrapped into one.

Besides the story, which is very poor, the game is average in all categories. For $4.99 (Steam sale), it was worth it. There will be countless mindless enemies rushing at you with melee weapons. This is the developer's intent and not because of poor AI. This is a fun arcade type of game, but not worth the full price.
