Oh boy. I dont know where to start but this movie just never took hold for me at all. It felt like a sad unneeded follow up. While I liked having Neve back in it, it just fell flat. Boring retread of a worn tire. The recent ones with Barrera and Ortega were better.
Kind of bland. Original is much better IMO. Cheesy jokes, not much character development. Idk just doesn't grab you at all. Ok popcorn fodder. Forgettable characters is probably my best description.
Man. A generous 5 too. No story at all. At least not the one I was going to see. May as well have called this movie Conflict Photographer. No backstory on the civil war, not even some opening details saying how it all was going down. Meaningless characters introduced along the way, culminating in a corny ending. Disappointing for sure. Bummer
Oof. This should have stopped after the third one. Part four was worse but not by a ton. This latest rendition, part 5, was forced garbage. The whole ending was goofy. I love the first three so much and this was crap. 4 is the worst but this was bad.
Fun movie, great original idea on going back in time on it, liked it a lot. Grab some popcorn and enjoy this worthy predator movie. The original is so good it's always hard to follow them but this was a well shot fun flick.
Not very good. Disjointed. Sloppy. Gets better towards the end but ugh. I am a J Law fan but I have to say her accent was terrible. Have a Russian ex and have spent time there, and it's bad. Some good moments, some laughable moments though unintentional I'm sure. Couldn't wait for it to be over.
Mildly interesting build up only to terribly fail to deliver anything satisfying. I see perhaps where the critics are scoring certain aspects of the film but personally I found it boring and slow. I was happy when it ended and would not recommend. Weak sauce.
Hypnotic. Absolutely outstanding. Glam, beauty, some gore etc with amazing visuals and an intense soundtrack that I've had on repeat for days. This movie isn't going to appeal to everyone but I found it amazing. I saw a screening of it pre release and just saw it in the theater last weekend. See it on a big screen. It was outstanding on the big screen at the Hollywood Arclight Dome. Abbey Lee scorches this movie and is just as much the star as Elle. Bella was great as well. Well done. Going again next week.
Inglourios was much better. Where to begin...parts of Django were good. Leonardo, Jamie, and without a doubt Christoph Waltz. Django was, toooo long. Easily could have done without 30 minutes of it and it would have been better. I found myself bored. I'd rent it so you can take a break midway :)
