I would have rated it 9 based on the promises of the first episode, but the further you get into the series, the more you realize this is nothing but a pretentious exercise of style and a bunch of shallow vignettes that lead nowhere but to vacuity and boredom.

Interesting and very important story to be told. But it could have been summarized in a one and a half hour film. This 5 episode series feels like a old 1980 episode of dallas where you have to repeat over and over every single detail of the story and tease on what’s to come in the next segment. This makes for a frustrating watching especially with the fact that AMC decided to broadcast it in a three day marathon. Worth watching, but have your remote control close to you. And also don’t expect one of those making a murderer-like riveting And full of twists true crime investigations even though it’s sort of sold to you in that way.

I used to think that show was pure genius, but it seems like the writer couldent deliver what he promises in the first season. All this show is about disappointing misleads and plot twists that always turn out to be exploited in the most boring way. It is very unfortunate for a show that could have turned into a subversive hit series if not for what became clueless writing and plot laziness topped off by pretentious directing effects that used to be original and, without any real substance, becomes annoying and risible.
