I didn't expect humor from a Game of Thrones spin-off. I am really loving this scaled-down story. Game of Thrones was a 10 (except the final season), House of Dragons a solid 8, but there is room to get better. I expected maybe a 7, but I am really getting into this.
I don't know why network tv puts all this advertising money towards stuff like this. They must just be pandering to dumb peoble. I wanted to laugh, but I felt as if I were suffering through this. Chad Powers is similar in some ways, being a sports comedy, and that was completely more enjoyable than this.
We need more "comfort tv". Ted is a delight the intro music just sets you in a relax mood and the cursing from a cute teddy bear does the same. My wife does not like Family Guy or South Park, but in "they rent a porno episode" had her gutterally laughing. No real critic is going to put their stamp of approval on something like this, but this was the one show I was excited to be in our rotation, too bad it was only 8 episodes. Hopefully it doesn'tgo down like the Oriville.
