The game is a totally bug infested and poorly made mess. It was a good idea that was horribly implemented. Add to that there is no way to be entertained solo and the PvP is totally unfair because back in testing there were exploits that created people with far more money than over 95% of players will ever earn combined. The developers announced after ending the exploits that they would never be resetting the game at or after launch. That made those few permanently in control of the large corporations and free to do anything they like forever along with any they choose to bless with tons of money. Not even Amazon can screw up a game as bad as these folks did.

In testing most of us realized the game would get a lot of sales because of the name Amazon. Most folks would get bored quickly though. The game is beautiful. It lacks content, variety, anything novel or any real story. I got the impression the big decisions were made for money reasons by business people who never were gamers. Very little variety of mobs. Very little variety of quests. Very limited story. Other than looks it has nothing to recommend it. If the game had been made by a less woke and more experienced game making company the idea may have turned into something decent. Amazon should stick to delivering products to consumers and especially it's Kindle books. Books are it's roots and what it is good at if it keeps it's political views out of it. Consumer items to deliver is an extension of the expertise delivering books prior to Kindle. Gaming is a whole different business and their corporate business folks know nothing about how to do that well and don't seem to care. All they care about is extracting money and pushing far left politics.

Professional Farmer: Cattle and Crops9
Mar 22, 2022
I loved the game as someone from ranches and farms. It's more realistic and the average player can learn a great deal accurately if they do the entire long tutorial. Most skip the tutorial unfortunately though. It saddened me they stopped development. I hope someone takes over.

Lumberjack's Dynasty6
Mar 22, 2022
The game is fun for a long time making it well worth the price. I have almost 120 hours in it and fairly close to completing all achievements. It gets tedious though after some time. It then becomes a matter of how bored you are with other things and willing to keep plugging away through repetition to complete long term tasks. I don't mind that for a long time. If I ever get really bored I will go back and finish the achievements. I doubt that will happen. The most irritating thing to me is the little tasks for other people that get very repetitive... repair a building, go find a goat, or do some mowing (and pick up the clippings for your animals to eat in addition to the pay). I think that is what made me stop playing.

X-Plane 1110
Mar 31, 2021
If you want realism and beauty, X-Plane 11 is for you. If you want pretty but not necessarily accurate and unrealistic flight, then go with MSF. You can get addons for missions or challenges (I like Air Hauler 2 for missions and building a company). Fly wherever in the world. With addons it can be expensive, but amazing (some great addons are free too).I spend way too much time in X-Plane 11 using the PC edition without Steam. Want to explore the world from above? Want to find challenging places to land? Want to practice for real flight? This is for you. Using some networks, you can fly with human ATC (or become one of those ATC). A very good ATC is available as a plugin free. I would do either of those options as the biggest problem with X-Plane has always been the built in ATC is awful and you are better off ignoring it in many cases. I use the free ATC plugin that works flawlessly. That plugin is called 124thATCv2.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues1
Mar 17, 2021
I had high hopes for this. Unfortunately, when the shroud was pulled off of the game it was revealed that all that was under the shroud was a representation **** game rather than the real thing... an avatar. The mechanics are a disaster for getting around especially. What I love about the game is that if you use skills, then only those skills get good. You won't become a great bowman by chopping wood or swinging a sword. You won't be a great carpenter by shooting anyone or making potions. If you don't use a skill it will never improve. So, a master really has mastered whatever they are a master at. I also love all the things you can make yourself if you get the skills for what interests you. You can do great financially if you choose a craft to specialize in or if you do a lot of crafts and never get great at any but can make all the simple things. The rest of the game is an unmitigated disaster. It also has the same problem as like Civilization VI where the maker is constantly advertising their far-left political ideas rather than concentrating on making a good game for everyone to enjoy. Overall the game is horrible. The idea was great though. I hope someone makes something similar with good graphics and mechanics and no real life politics involved.

Academagia: The Making of Mages0
Mar 17, 2021
I actually loved the game and would have given it more like a 7 if it had not been abandoned. You play as a first year student. There is nothing after the first year though. If you had been able to continue to graduation with each year being a DLC or update after the first year I would probably have been about an 8. If you had been able to graduate and then have a career and life I may have well had given it a 10. Sadly though you just get accepted to the school and go through the first year of basics and never advance to higher levels, no future relationships, and no future career or adventures. It just ends with a promise of more that never happened over the last 10+ years.

Fishing: North Atlantic9
Mar 17, 2021
The game is a very good fishing simulator. Follow the tutorial and it isn't difficult. It's more **** to chill with while simulating the fishing business. The radio has some decent music and you can import your favorite radio stations from around the world. I use some Japanese ones, but, mostly I use two stations in Halifax that I like since they are local to where the game takes place. Money is not hard at all, so, you can easily upgrade ships as you like and buy new ones after discovering them. As with all new games it had some things that didn't work right and others that could be better. They have been updating constantly. Overall, it's a pleasant way to spend time with a few challenges, but, nothing that will be overly difficult for anyone to figure out.

I used to love the game while in EA. I played almost 600 hours. Just before release it got a lot of obnoxious users and cheats and exploits were found and abused by players. I had been a user of the month and like all my predecessors I left the game because of what came with release and just prior. We were driven away from something we used to love. When I left and deleted the game I discovered (as I did with a few others too) that it kept an insane amount of space used on my computer that I had to manually delete. I learned from it to always check resources used. What was really bad was it was a known problem it used too many resources but I was taught a file to delete when there was a problem and used to teach others. Even after deleting that file after uninstalling it still used an amazing amount of hard drive. I might try again someday and see if the resource problem was solved and the players more easily ignored. I play most games solo and this was no exceptionas I rarely interracted with anyone. I simply can't stand obnoxious players which most MMO games are full of.

Ghost of a Tale0

I liked the idea and adorable art. The problem comes because there is only one way to do several things (such as the sneaking without being caught) and you may try one task for hours and never hit the one way. So, you look it up and see the entire game is that way so there are step by step directions for all those one way to do it puzzles. That then ruins the game for you as you know most people that complete the game simply followed step by step directions. I wish games always changed and had true randomness in places so that no guide would ever be able to walk you through. Following directions is boring. This happens to be one of the worst at that.
