Great scenarios and terrific mood. This dystopian vision of USSR is great and they did a great job with all the retro artwork and environment. The map is cool and although the lore isn't amazing it is pretty interesting. Maybe a couple tl:dr emails that don't add much to the story but overall they did a good job. The weapons are cool and the gameplay is quite enjoyable. The only reason I, personally, give it only a 7 and not more is because of poor mechanics. You constantly get stuck in the most random places. On top of a rock, when you jump on top of a box, etc. It's ridiculous the amount of ttimes this has happened, sometimes mid combat. Quite often it ruined a specific fight. Lacks a little bit of polishing. Still, I think it's entertaining and worth a shot.

Vastly improved in terms of gameplay experience when compared to the first chapter. Minor details that make it more pleasing in terms of action. The story builds on the previous chapter really well and introduces some likeable characters. Beautiful visuals. Unfortunately, it still is a bit linear and one directional. Improves on the first chapter but it isn't enough to keep it fresh. Much better in terms of gameplay but nothing really different, in essence. Such potential to do more...

Conarium is obviously a labour of love. One can put it in the "walking simulator" catalogue as it is clearly one worth it for the experience and lore. It makes up for its flaws with the ambience and the interesting story that unfolds before you as you progress through the game. It is precisely for staying true to the works of Lovecraft and for creating the right atmosphere that it is worth experiencing. Not one for the horror fans that will be looking for proper scares and complex puzzles, even though that's not what is promised, so no fault there. The "mood" is there, the lore is good, the level design is interesting. All of this makes up for the short time it takes you to complete the game... H.P. Lovecraft enthusiasts (such as myself) can enjoy it and safely add it to the list of the most solid attempts at bringing Lovecraft's work to video games so far. The price tag... a little high for the content on offer... I recommend that you look for it on promotion (like I did) and then get it at a more reasonable **** in all, a very solid H.P. Lovecraft game. Clearly recommend.

Keeps with the tradition of previous Far Cry titles. Storywise isn't the most creative so far, acceptable but not fascinating. Tends to become a bit repetitive which makes you progressively focus more on main missions rather than go for completionist. Playability is good, replayability interest is very low. Far Cry titles have a history of fascinating villains, Joseph is okay but far from the best (like Vaas or Pagan Min). The endings are okay. If you're into the franchise it's worth your time. Titles 2 to 4 were, in my opinion, the best. This doesn't add something really new but it is entertaining.
