A lively, colorful, rapid fire animated company with a fluid animation style and reference filled script. The Lego Batman Movie is great and can be recommended to all ages.

A grim, poorly written film that's only real achievement is it's CGI. My hatred of Disney's recent series of reimaginings of it's classic traditionally animated movies, showing them immense disrespect and possibly harming their legacy among more discerning filmgoers not familiar with the originals.

So much better than the lazy remake, this film has a strong narrative, great voice acting, great songs, great visuals, and a strong legacy. a classic from the golden age of Disney.

A Bug's Life is a very weak effort by Pixar, though it's not absolutely horrendous. It's juvenile and weak humor, as well as very very weak voice work. I personally think this movie sits below the widely maligned Cars 2 in the Pixar pantheon.

Jurassic Park 3 has a decent cast, is shot well enough, and is at times mildly engaging, but it's subpar CGI and weak plot become unforgivable as the mediocre-bad movie drags on. It has positive aspects, but they can't overcome the flaws.

Though not perfect, Spiderman Homecoming is a welcome and whimsical entry in the MCU. Tom Holland and Michael Keaton are excellent, as is the rest of the cast. Though the film can on occasion sink to the simplistic structure of GOTG, it's other aspects shine and create a good film, though without such a great cast it wouldn't be nearly as effective.

Into The Woods is a needless grim and poorly executed mess. The premise alone is not a good one, yet the movie manages to sink below even the lowest of expectations.

I couldn't care less about the cast change, honestly it's probably an improvement. This movie is a painfully idiotic and unnecessary diversion for the lowest common denominator of viewers.

Rocky Balboa, though implausible, is a great movie that almost makes up for the disaster of Rocky V. Accompanying the originals while standing well on its own.

Daddy's home isn't offensively bad, but its certainly not good. The most frustrating aspect of this movie is Wahlberg and Ferrell have comedic chemistry and could shine with a better script. This average movie wastes its talented stars.

The Dark Knight is more a crime film than a superhero movie, makes excellent use of it's cast, and has phenomenal action sequences. It's easy to pick out the best comic book film of 2008.

This movie isn't bad, its just nowhere near as good as people say it is. The movie is mostly fun, but has choppy CGI, a weak villain and amateur directing. The writing is pretty good, but has some big flaws on occasion.

This movie has a mostly great cast, that it completely wastes. The film somewhat mercifully, considering the quality of the ones still in there, sheds most musical portions morphing into a poorly done adventure film.

The best entry in the trilogy, an immaculate and amazingly detailed adventure that has very few flaws. Appealing to audiences of all ages in subtle ways, with an emotional story that perfectly caps off it's trilogy, surpassing its predecessors.

Beauty And The Beast is a pretentious and visually and audibly unpleasant, its ugly visuals and butchering of the soundtrack underlining its failed attempt at an emotional narrative devolving into a thinly veiled attempt to use the originals well deserved reputation to distract from the flaws of this disappointing rehash.

Guardians Of The Galaxy is a something that could have been a solid film, but is doomed to mediocrity, its solid visual style contrasted by a shockingly bland narrative. Guardians and it's proponents think of its as a breath of fresh air when it really amounts to a low effort and unoriginal marvel film

Age Of Ultron is a overstuffed mess. A very weak script that the mostly serviceable cast cannot overcome thanks to the film's many flaws. It can be enjoyed by a lowest common denominator and is decent for a die-hard. But not worth watching for many others.

This movie definitely isn't very ambitious, but delivers on what it promises. I enjoyed it in spite of myself, a 7 might be a little high (well, more than a little) objectively. But in the right mindset its enjoyable.

This entry plays it disappointingly safe, a good movie that does what it did pretty well, but plays more like a remake of the original than a sequel, lacking very many ideas of its own

Cars 3 is pretty well done for what it is. Delivering a entry thats improved from the second film, though reeks of wasted potential for a much better offering.

Guardians Of The Galaxy was a narratively paper-thin and self indulgent film with good songs weighed down by a bland score that had admittedly mildly interesting visuals. At least its particular brand of superhero film was relatively original back then.

Dunkirk is thrilling and suspenseful. A, in this age of streaming, rare film that truly must be seen in a theater to fully experience. In fact, without the big screen. This journey loses a great deal of it's effectiveness

I love every film in the series except this one. Rocky V is a contrived and misguided film that completely butchers a premise that while already inherently flawed could have been much better executed

I didn't have any sort of expectation for this film, but i found considerably disappointing all the same. even with a great animation style the film is hampered by basically everything else.

A well made and entertaining film, nothing groundbreaking. It succeeds in what it sets out to do, though comes off to me as rather simplistic. As long as your not expecting greatness you'll be satisfied.
