Very disappointed with the launch of this game on Ps5/Ps5 Pro. Game runs at not the smoothest 30 fps and motion blur is permanently enabled. That's just one part of the problem, it's also just incredibly buggy. Give it a few months to a year. Classic case of launch it now fix it later.
I love this remaster and everything about it is nearly perfect BUT I cannot give this game a positive review just simply because of how poorly it runs on base Ps5. I can't speak for the pro as I dont own one. The performance on performance mode is abysmal and the performance in quality mode isn't any better. Feels very choppy and inconsistent throughout the playthrough. Dungeons run amazingly but as soon as you step out into the overworld everything falls apart.
Very solid Battlefield game. There is so much to do and the moment to moment gameplay is just fantastic. I do feel that the destruction is a bit underwhelming and heavily scripted. The whole point of destruction is to make the maps feel dynamic and ever-changing and that doesn't really shine here. The destruction we do have looks fantastic but there just isn't enough of it. Maps are a bit disappointing but they're not terrible. Mirak Valley is really good.
