Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone10

Very good JRPG sidescroller. It has a very classic feel to it, but the art design and sound are by no means dated. This game is hard and even brutal at times though it stays fair. The combat/controls are very responsive and I would very much compare it with the way one controls a character in Street Fighter when in fighting, this also means you can not charge at mobs and expect to beat them as they all need to be defeated in a certain way and require skill. The game is also translated good, to the point where one is unable to tell Story-wise it's nothing ground breaking yet satisfying, but the perspective one is given is to my liking. Characters feel very alive and all represent a stereotype or another. It will not hold your hand on the way through, expect to do some digging around in order to find out what to do next, but as there are many walkthroughs already it will be of no hassle. Try the demo as it will reveal a great bit about the game. For what this game is : 10/10

Others have summed it up very well, but here are my two cents:
Not having played Diablo 1 or 2 ,I came to see what all the hype was about. Started the game and thought: "Hey this has a nice feel". But that lasted for about half an hour until you realize
that it's one huge grind-fest without a well implemented plot/story. Sorry but this is pure boredom.
Playing this game with friends that were wearing nostalgia goggles was fun for an hour or two, but what is the point in this game? I know it's supposed to be all loot and story does not matter, but why loot anything in the first place? It's not like you can compete in PVP yet, and once that is released it can not possibly be fun as there are hardly any tactics. Even I, now a few days after launch have had many many problems. This is one buggy game. An example: Many people have to make another Windows account in order to log in for the first time after any updates. What to expect from this game: Boredom and even more of it. Go walk around in small maps and hover your mouse cursor over things until they die. Then pick up the "loot" and be happy your stats are now +1 when it does not matter at all to anyone including yourself once the nostalgia wears off. How is the combat refined? It is very slow paced and once you go past Act 1 your screen turns into clustered fireworks and keep pressing until the mobs have disappeared. Now people saying the opposite yell at me trying to convince me otherwise and say: Try playing a mage or witch-doctor. Really? It is not news to anyone that a mage is a glass-canon and should avoid melee attacks. You freeze them with a spell that has a cool down then walk away and shoot at them. That is your tactic through the entire game.
Yes I am a little exaggerating to get my point across, but only a little. The story sounds interesting, then again it is full of cliches and so badly done that you could not care less.
I did not once feel motivated enough to care about any character or dialogue, even though I gave it my best and wanted to like this game because of my friends. Besides that there is no feel of a community at all. Sure you can put items into the auction house but that is about it. Why bother making online a requirement?
