First of all, this is a fun game. It's a good mix of realism and arcade (leaning towards the arcade side) with nice cars and all in all fun gameplay. I don't do the races, but I do like to just drive around and drift corners in my favorite cars. For PC this game doesn't have the best optimization, I get mostly 60 FPS (capped) and it usually drops to 20-30 in some areas (670, 3570k, 16gb). Oh and there is no in-car view, disappointing for those with steering wheels. I played this with a gamepad (and so should you if you don't have a wheel).

Call me stupid or whatever, but I found the storyline pretty confusing. There were a lot of "what???" moments. The gameplay itself is pretty okay, nothing spectacular. It's not good, but it's not bad either. The atmosphere is pretty good and the mechanics and features of the gameplay are pretty interesting. No FOV slider in menu, but enabling the console and entering **** X into it solves this issue. My biggest gripe is that it's the same damn thing all the time. You go into a room, kill some dudes, flashback this dude, go into another room and the cycle repeats. Add in some cutscenes and you have a game that is pretty mediocre, but not bad.

Good gameplay, interesting new mechanics, boring storyline and characters, ending will make you go "...wat" and horrible menus for PC. Not as good as AC2.

I just finished the campaign and it was pretty terrible. I feel that they tried to cater to the Call Of Duty fans by desperately incorporating various mechanics and scenes. Mechanics are wonky and all over the place. There is like.. 3 guns or something in the campaign and that disappointed me very much. Well not 3 guns exactly but there were so few. And most of them are bad. Story is confusing and is your typical "'MERICA YEAH TERRORISTS BLOW THEMSELVES UP!!!" middle-eastern shoot-em up. You go to one area, fight a wave of dudes, go to another, fight another wave etc, very COD like. Haven't tried MP yet, but I didn't get it for the MP. I also heard the MP is just as bad. I did like the part where they tried to honor the soldier and keep it authentic. When you reload you actually don't rack the slide if you already have a round in the chamber, neato. All in all, the game is pretty ****
