Donkey Kong Bananza is a very innovative game and just what Nintendo needed for the launch of the Switch 2. This game is a great game in my opinion with all of it's cool mechanics and it's sandbox-like world. Now, it's not tailored exactly to me, I put it off for a month or so after getting it because of it's style of gameplay. It would be a 10 if it was more my style. I beat the game, did some post game content and put it down. I was very impressed with it and willing to play it through again. It's a very fun game to play. But as of now, (Early March 2026) I am in the middle **** that's been living rent free in my Switch 2 for months and it won't pay rent for quite a bit. With 20 hours in it, I can tell it will be worth the 70 dollars, I just have to put some time into it.
Anybody who reviewed it negatively before 2024 should come back and try it again. It's delivered on everything people want and more. This is space exploration to the highest extent. If you still don't like it after everything they've added, what more could you want.
Great game for just racing around, this is my 3rd most played racing game. Counting both Mario Kart's. All in all, i'm playing this game so much it's going to become my top racing game played within a month or so. Great game, the racing's fun. The controls take time to get used to but they also position races to be more competitive. Perfect game to sit down and chill for a bit.
Absolutely peak, just an amazing game with all of its different features. The world and the music fit together amazingly well. Instant top 5 games I've played.
