BUGGY, ABANDONED AND BORING. ***PROs*** + Nice graphics. + Exploring is kinda fun especially in new, faster Mako-like vehicle. + (Some) nice voice acting (namely all the Ryders, Cora, etc). + Nice music (especially main theme). + Intriguing mysterious connection to original trilogy story arc. + Decent gunfight engine. + Autosave tends to do a somewhat decent job (strictly in that it saves regularly). + Some surprise treats for fans of the original series. + Ability to switch activate powers on the fly. + Independent power cooldowns. + Full keyboard customization (yeah, I know, it's 2017 and there *are* games out there that reserve certain keys that end up screwing you over). + Native controller support (tested with XBOX ONE wireless controller). ***CONs*** - DENUVO! Yuck! - Half the people are British accented... It's like Harry f'ing Potter in space. - A lot of British English words and phrases (like they wanted to rub it in that they went all British). - Dull antagonist factions. - Dull non-Milky-way ally faction. - Dull filler tasks/missions make up the majority of the game (often needing you to constantly go back and forth across the galaxy). - Unskippable cutscenes when landing on planets (normally not an issue but given the back and forth nature of the side missions, it's excruciating). - Buggy AF (getting stuck, autosave issues, random dialog spurting, invisible objects/people, mission bugs, etc). - No QuickSave/QuickLoad! - Can't control squad-mate powers in battle. - Can't customize squad-mate loadout. - Mission/assignment journal is a disorganized mess. - Too many random location tasks which require a ridiculous amount of wandering around to finish. - Too few biotic primer powers (several key signature powers from original trilogy are gone). - Everything is f'ing "balanced" (serious impedance to leveling up player/weapons/powers/etc). - No renegade/paragon (often wanna sound tough but lack of dialog choice makes you sound like a complete wimp). Some dialog choice "labels" are misleading and makes things even worse. - I have no problem with gay love interests existing in this game but every other dialog option with certain male characters had the "heart" (romance) icon next to it and this made me feel quite uncomfortable and always suspicious if I'm leading down some homosexual path with some of the characters, especially with some who you meet that are either, um, somewhat "emotional" or just plain give **** vibe. - Bioware won't be releasing any DLCs or even bug-fixing patches for this game! Completely abandoned. - Unsatisfying final boss fight, though the lead up to it is great. - My favorite pistol is missing (Arc Pistol)... okay, I understand it's not fair to include this in the list but I needed to get it off my chest! I'd give the game a 7/10, possibly higher if they had released good DLCs for it, but those first three points on the cons list really p*** me off, so it gets a 1/10.

Started off boring, difficult AF to control the vehicle they give you (poor handling). Pushed myself to play a bit further. Story started getting considerably more interesting but I realized the poor handling is going to require A LOT of grinding to fix -- it is a Car-pg after all. It made the game unreasonably difficult from the start. Things took a turn for the worst a few "tasks" into the story when they introduced an "American" law enforcement officer by the name of "Clara WASHINGTON" (!!), who opens her mouth and belches out a thick British accent... I knew at this point this story is going to be cheesy AF to compliment the difficult AF and tedious AF, so I quit and uninstalled the game. Buy this game if you're into difficult games, time-consuming games, and cheesy plots such as a British voiced American presidents or female Navy SEALs, etc.

I'm only ever interested in single-player content so being forced to always be online is a huge thumbs down from me. The idea and setting of this game are both very interesting... what a waste.

- Major performance issues. - Denuvo. - Day one DLCs. - Microtransactions (if it wasn't insulting enough, they're single use transactions!) - Bland story. - Grindy feel to the game (hence the microtransactions). - Gunfights still a mess. The list keeps growing. Move along people, nothing good to see here.

Supremely buggy plus everyone's got British accents... WTF?! It makes the game feel so unauthentic. Was it really that difficult for them to get voice actors speaking English with French accents... One for the "recycle bin".

It doesn't work, but then again it's expected from such a sc*mbag developer who likes to cater towards consoles and leave us $60 non-functional/unoptimized/untested scraps. To the people saying it doesn't work because of minimum specs, I have a 3770K, 32GB DDR3, HW RAIDED SSDs and a R9 290 4GB so nope. Take your false of technical expertise with you.

With the exception of the one crash and one hang, the game ran pretty smoothly for me, then again I have a fairly beefy PC. The single player campaign although a little unrealistic and over-exaggerated is entertaining and absorbing. I enjoyed the gunfights and the mixing it up with the dog, tanks, space, choppers, ships, etc. I found the campaign a little too short to justify the $60. As for multiplayer, I won't go there because I just don't like multiplayer gaming, at all, since it's always repetitive random gun fights and never a humble sportsman-like games but arrogance, **** and obnoxiousness. I'd say this game is worth about $30-$40 tops. Oh, and those who give this game a 0 out of 10 then start off with talking about how bad the multiplayer is... MULTIPLAYER is an ADDITIONAL feature to SINGLE-PLAYER GAMES, IT'S NOT THE MAIN SELLING POINT!

Very poorly optimized for PC: - It doesn't allow binding of certain keys (backspace, enter, pgup, pgdn, etc) so if you're an old-school gamer using arrow keys, you may need to resort to clumsy solutions like AHK (allows you to rebind but it won't change in-game on-screen prompts). - Runs poorly even on high-end systems with the most annoying stuttering (sinuous frame rate). Tested both "High" and "Ultra" @ 1080p on a Core i7-3770K with 32GB DDR3 memory, R9 290 4GB GPU, HW RAIDED SSDs, felt like my computer was seriously outdated. - Uninnovative control scheme... One too many individual binds. For example, the cover system is a frustratingly awkward mess -- press one key to take cover, another to exit?! Why not a single key for both, like Mass Effect 3's cover system? This is only made worse by the inability to bind other keys in that area of the keyboard... - Forced (negative) mouse acceleration... when you're trying to "fine aim" the crosshairs at your target, it feels like you're moving your mouse in thick mud. The **** "fix" doesn't really help that. - Can't adjust/change mouse wheel up/down ("next weapon"/"previous weapon"). I use the mouse wheel too but I need it inverted. At least it never crashed on me, for which I give it 1 point out of 10. All in all, games are supposed to be fun but I experienced frustration for much of the play through so... TRY HARDER UBISOFT!!

The single player campaign is full of action and great gun fights but the quality of the port is a huge let down. Under medium-quality graphics settings and res turned down from 1920x1200 to 1280x800, it runs somewhat sluggishly on my i7-3770k/32GB DDR3/HD5850 OC 2GB... This game's not a bar-setter when it comes to graphics and yet it's disproportionately resource-demanding. Some people say the multiplayer feature is where the game shines but I wouldn't know since I'm not a fan of repetitive online play.

This isn't a review but a WARNING to those who don't use the new-school WASD system: Control customization in this game is a complete b***h... Doesn't let you re-bind MOUSE1/MOUSE2 or even the Reload function... Ten minutes into the game, I'm putting it back down and returning it for a refund.
