Art / Graphics = 8 Gameplay = 5 Controls = 5 UI = 4 Multiplayer = 3 UPlay Server Connection Quality = 2 Price = 3 The game does look quite nice, the animations are fluid and life-like. The environment is large and detailed, but could be better. The gameplay is fun for a few hours, but gets old fast, your mileage may vary. The controls can be rather clunky, mainly when you are at a stand still and want to ski / board in a certain direction and the character spins in circles, or when you want to jump off a ledge to wingsuit and the character jumps in the wrong direction. The UI is not great, the map view is hard to control and the pause menu is not intuitive. Multiplayer is quite weak. In all honesty this is a single player game, you race against other player's ghosts in challenges, so you should be able to play offline by yourself or with bots even, but you can't. What really hurts the experience is server connection issues preventing you from loading and playing the game. I'll be kind and assume that since I played during a free weekend the servers could not handle the stress. Late at night I didn't have any issues, but mid-day I could not connect once. Ubisoft should not have made this game online only and the game could benefit from a more structured campagin. I value this product at $20, $60 is a far stretch.

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior7
Jan 2, 2015
The gameplay is an 8.5, the biggest downside is that there is no Team Objective game mode, but there are not a lot of "pro players" that do crazy drags and rainbows. The game can be frustrating at times, but when you get the hang of it, it is quite fun. However, the technical bugs lower this game's value; expect alt-tabbing to always crash the game or even your computer, also expect video/control setting to reset most time the game updates. Still though, this game is great fun, especially with friends.

Best game of the series, 9.5 / 10. Good story, good characters, good gameplay. The tactical camera is a very nice feature, it allows you to pause time and assign specific orders to each character.

Reused and boring environments make this game a chore to finish, but if you like Origins you may still like this game. This sentence is here to make this review 150 characters long.

Dragon Age: Inquisition8

Not as good as Dragon Age Origins, but better than DA2. "Open World" is fun, but you cannot run from one end to the other, like Skyrim. Maybe better story than Skyrim though? Has long load screens, only once crashed after 50+ hours of playing.

This game was a 9.5/10, but that was is 2013. Only get this game if you want to play Conquest on the stock maps, there are hardly any servers actually running this game.

This is a very good game, just don't bother with any of the expansions/dlcs which no one plays 1-2 months after release. If you only want to play Conquest mode on the stock maps then go ahead and get this game, though 1-2 years from now (fall 2014) you will only be able to find a dozen servers running.

Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition8

It is an open world with hundreds of zombies on screen at once, has lots of interesting crafting options, and has some funny enemies in the Psycho Missions. Yes there are some frame rate issues on the max setting, but turning down the LOD a few notches fixed that right up. My biggest complaint is the fact there is one button that serves multiple functions and targeting objects is a chore; so sometimes I accidentally pick up the wrong object, or accidentally give a companion my weapon, when all I really wanted to do was jump in my car.

Chessmaster: Grandmaster Edition7
Feb 7, 2014
The chess knowledge contained within the Academy is fantastic, with great commentary and interaction. As a beginner in chess this game greatly expanded my knowledge of strategy/tactics in the openings, middle game, and end game. However, the application itself is clunky and unintuitive. The menus are not the easiest to navigate and the 3D graphics are quite poor, even by 2007 standards.

Mediocre in every aspect. Maybe 10 years ago this game might have been worth a 7, maybe. I recommend PlanetSide 2 or BF3 over this. Weapons ****, vehicles ****, controls ****, animations ****, textures ****.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition0

If you like incredibly difficult games that make you redo the same crap 100 times because you aren't "hardcore" enough then this game is for you; seriously, why can't I just make the game easier it is so frustrating. Graphics are terrible, game runs slowly, combat is slow and boring, controls are meh, and in general nothing is very exciting or intuitive about this game.
