A masterpiece of cringe-induction. Another one of "christian movies" made for a closed circle of happy believers to empower their ideology, while making it looking ever more ridiculous for anyone else.

So this is it? This movie is very disappointing as it brings zero excitement. The authors vision of the world is really naive. I expected the main character to "crush the system" in some interesting way, while she just bowed down to it. There is nothing thrilling in action scenes, neither nothing touching in the plot. My final reaction was a big question mark when I saw the "heroes" smiling to the cameras and just returning home. I can only think of recommending this movie to young kids but there's this overall violence that makes it questionable.

Certainly a must-see, not only for fans of Scandinavian movies. Grim and touching, with great acting (where did they found those children?). The story draws strongly and you will be most probably very satisfied with the ending. I recommend it for a serene night with your beloved one. Instead of watching dull romantic comedies, see the "King of Devil's Island" and let your hearts get moved.
