It's an okay game. Pros: - Combat - Animation and graphics -Audio - Great level design - Infected.... I mean, come on, they creepy as hell and pretty awesome! Cons: - Ellie's depth is gone. - Weaker writing than the first; The characters are less compelling and the story is essentially split into a "have base, go kill target " cycle. - The ending has a message, but it comes off as strongly disillusioned in contrast to what came before it. - Pacing issues; Flashbacks has a tendency to take over the game and stops the flow of events in the present. Overall it's an okay game. There are some things in there which are 10/10 worthy, but they are lopsided by some aspects which doesn't work at all in context.

The "critics" here, are obviously unfamiliar with philosophical notions, as Oure, while a bit repetitive in it's nature, still surpasses the sum of it's parts. It's a small beautiful interactive experience more so than a game. It questions the themes of meaning, life and death, while never forcing anything down your throat. The controls are pretty simple, we're talking Collosus simple, however, they are easy to handle, contrary to what the "critics" will have you believe. The one downside i found with it, was that it can, at times, be massively confusing to find the collectibles because you only have a radar to pinpoint orbs, which only lights up, if they are floating in the same layer of the skies as you. TLDR: A great little experience, lending a more interactive approach to philosophical themes than a movie, and less interactivity than most other games. A small beautiful sky garden if you will. Not for everyone, but definitely worth it if you know what you're in for.
