This is by no mean a perfect game, and I personally despise the very thought of Microtransaction's, but that does not make this game a bad one - cause this is by far no Pay-to-Win (not once have I felt compelled to buy anything for real money). Since seems that, not all of them, but many of those who gave the 0-3 score (and wow, there are a whole lot of them) and bash on the game in their reviews, only lifts "Microtransactions" as their issue. Well, I can say this much - I got so much Mirian already early on, that I could easily spend a whole lot of it, and yet never feeling poor - cause like in other game’s with systems like this, the paid storefront here, feels less predatory and actually more like an unnecessary addition. The only difference (as I see it) is that the better and expensive chests just hands guaranteed better loot, but I personally rather get that in-game anyway. The GFX is gorgeous and the enviroments is stunning, as is the details on the Orc Generals/Officers, armor and weapons. The Nemesis system feels both familiar and improved since the first. The Skill-tree has some nice and awesomely helpful abilities, while others just feel "MEHH!!". Still there is variety enough that early on they matters, but later on you'll most likely have covered them all. Even though the Armor & Weapons looks neat and cool, but their abilities doesnt hand the same variety and awesomeness, also it becomes a tedious task to always be in need to un-lock their bonus abilities as soon as you get a better piece. The story is not all that compelling, but it doesn't bother me all that much since there is so many other things to do (some of the stuffs can after a while feel bit repetative). At its core it is a great experience, and for me personally, this game is a brilliant game that gives me more flesh and insight to one of the many untold stories in Middle Earth.

This is one of the best RPG's I have played. When this game was first released back in (2012, I think), I was bit sceptical to it, but I was happily suprised. The elements that you could climb up on the big monsters, and bash them while mounting them, or clinging on their back, felt fresh and new. The graphics might feel bit outdated, but there is so much in the gameplay and atmospheric feeling that outweigh this by far. And for me, the "post-game" (NOT the NG+) really handed me something to bite in, and gives it another twist (GL with online UR )+ that the (now included) DLC Bitterblack Isle also is well worth visiting (preferably not as a Lvl 1) puts your skills to a test. I'm just a simple lvl 80, nd might be a mediocre gamer, and still feel like Bitterblack is a challenge ( to my defense, I got only mediocre gear, and no "end-game" gear). This game delivers such a joyful gameplay, and felt well worth my money to re-invest in it to be able to play it on my PS4. I actually had more fun now, than I did back then (cant explain why). I still love the "PAWN-system" which is such a brilliant compliment... and if you have a high level (150-200) friend, you can borrow his Pawn and cheese through the early game. Even though none of my RL friends have picked this game up, there is a rich pick of Pawns that you can hire from other gamers - these Pawns wanders around in the Rift, the world and the city. If you dont mind a bit outdated GFX and is looking for a good RPG, well, I heartly recommend this as it is well worth the money (250 SEK or approx 30 USD)

This is a game in Old-school ISO-metric gfx (similar to: Baldurs Gate, Diablo, Icewind Dale, Fallout 1-2 etc) is an outstanding RPG very complex and deep, that has a great story to be told, with interesting characters. It has good voice-acting, but those moments are rare, since this game is a very text-heavy tale, so if you despise reading your stories this RPG might not be for you. Was a bit sceptic at first, since on PC there is so much mouse-clicking, and menus that it simply seems so much better suited for a PC, but it makes me happy to say: this port from PC to console is surprisingly good. Though, not sure if they patched it, but the loading times is horrible, sure not at first, but the longer in you progress, the longer the loading times. Despite this, this is a game I'd warmly recommend to any person who is fond of a text-heavy ISO-metric RPG.

Sure, I can understand why there is GFX comparisions, but for some odd reasons, PC gamer come here to review a console game, which for me seems irrelevant and a behaviour of trolling. We know by now that the PC been running in Ultra for some time, but, this is a console game for console-gamers who can make their own judgement of preference. The biggest improvement is the audio fidelity and obviously the texture, while sadly the Character models are still rough around the edges, and have washed out faces. This is particularly evident during the character creation process. But it's after the first 30min/hour or so that you really can start to notice the changes from 2011 PS3 version and this Special Ed. The pop-in of the objects, which was very obvious in the PS3 version, is hardly noticed since it appears in screen immediately, right in front of your eyes. I'd say that this game has aged with dignity, and is worth to re-enter, even after 1000's of hours spent in earlier version. This is still one of the great RPG, and if you only played on console, you now finally have the possibility of using mods. Sure, the PS4 havent recieved as much mod-love as Xbox-1 and PC, but it is finally here. Some of these mods are just minor conveniences, while others can shift the game making it feel like a totally other game. Obviously these can never be compared to the vast options of the PC, but it is a really nice treat, and they are safe to install (but be aware: You'll not be able to get any of The Trophies with Mods installed) Ofcourse, I won't make any false pretences, that this package makes much more sense for us console gamers, who previously didn't have a way to enjoy the experience Skyrim with the benefits of supreme PC hardware. Nonetheless, any excuse to head back out into Skyrim and become consumed by its sense of wonder and enchanting sub-stories is a good one. And if you never got around and gamed Skyrim before, and you want to experience it on Console, well now is the time to do it - with no remorse and no hesitation.

This S-JRPG is delivered in a beautiful art style similar to Dragon's Crown and Odin Sphere, and it had totally gone under my radar, until just a month ago. I admit that I was a bit sceptic, but went for it anyway, and I don't regret it at all that I took this leap of faith. There is four nations, and since you are a mercenary - you are free to pick which of the nations you want to support and sign a contract with. The War between the nations is delivered in a online PvP element, where you face other gamers troops (though I think they are handled by AI, but not sure) where you either are the defender or invader. There is also some side-missions that is delivered via online PvP-element. Worth mentioning: 1. The Mainstory (which is single-player) is short, but the characters made it worthwhile and handed me a nice set of hours. 2. It is a very grindy game, but if you aint afraid of "exp-grinding", then you cant go wrong with this game, and will be a great addition in your PS4 collection. 3. You have 17 classes to pick from (or rather, you need to hire them, and they appear randomly in the recruitment list, and is renewed after a quest or war-battle), and there is lots of skills, magical spells and melee attacks to discover.

Been playing SRPG, RPG, and CRPG for more years than I'd like to admit, but I dare say, if you have a similar taste, then this game is a must for yee console-gamers (or PC)! There's a lot of exploring that is well worth your time, and the dev. certainly have a profound sense of humor! And I'm happy to say that Divinity Original Sin will have a follow up (thanks to another turn via a successful Kickstarter) which just make me even more happy! Larian Studios, I vouch for thee, and long to see what you'll hand me in the follow up!

This version of Diablo 3 is the version that fits closer to the version I had imagined when D3 first was released. Bought the game when it first was released on PC, and it was fun... for a while. Then came the famous "Wall" and the stalking of AH began, which was hideous! Now, a couple of years later, I got the urge to try it out again (with RoS expansion) and found the game cheap to PS4, so I thought I could do a clean slate. And for that I am glad! What I experienced was the same game, but the feeling couldnt be more different. Never regretted that I grabbed it to PS4, and made a clean slate (leveling up another Barbarian). Just reached Paragon lvl 110, and it still feels fresh - so for Me, this has been money well spent!

This spin-off Final Fantasy is actually one of the better in the franchise for a long time (not counting in FF XI nor XIV), and even though it is ain't next-gen GFX and "just" a HD-remaster it is well worth the time and money. The action is fast-paced, the storyline is actually engaging, with a whole bunch of great 'n "colorful" characters. The only thing that is slightly annoying - in the beginning - is the camera which is a bit wonky, but after some hours of gaming you get used to it. The thing I like the most is that, while being in the Academy, you have to think over which events/actions you want to go for - cause all of them cost a set amount of hours (very similar to how it is in Persona).

You'll die. A lot! Cause there is a myriad of stuffs that can, and will, kill you - friends, foes, gear - and it is all part of the fun. I think there is a whole lot of others that thinks this reminds them of this being a baby spawned from Starship troopers and Warhammer 40k, and I'll have to say: I agree. This game is best enjoyed together in group of four, so grab hold of three friends, and dive in to helluva lot of fun!

Pillars of Eternity is like meeting up with a long lost friend, and it all feels so familiar, that you pick up where you left, yet the story is long and engaging, which makes it easy to listen to. The isometric graphic couldn't feel more right - a nostalgic trip from the past - as it is the skin that suits the story being delivered. This CRPG is for all of you who wish to dive into a world that reminds you of BG, NWN and Ice Wind Dale, but with slightly new differences. The setting is great, and the story is engaging. This game managed to walk from Kickstarter, and even exceeded my already high expectations. I'm glad that I jumped on this train from start.
