It's a 40$ game with a F2P model so they squeeze every cent out of you. "Now, at least the gameplay is fun-wait actually there's another game breaking bug in this update. Oh wait it's fixed now in the next update-oh actually all the fire weapons are now broken in this new update." That will be your general experience. There's still bugs in the game that were that at launch or right after launch as well. It's a waste of time and money, they have no QC and no balance team at Arrowhead and it shows.

When playing with a few buddies Helldivers does offer some level of fun at first, but the repetitive gameplay loop soon begins to grind.

While it may not look like much on the surface, Helldivers has a hell of a lot going on once players dig in, and being a disposable interstellar trooper raiding death planets has never been more perfectly captured than it is here.

Helldivers may not look that spectacular, but it certainly plays that way. A hardcore shoot 'em up that rewards tactical thinking and teamwork.

Its strategy, action and excitement on cooperative mode with friendly fire helps us to forget that Helldivers' procedural design results in repetitive matches. If you are looking for a game with difficult challenges and a great time with friends then this is the game you're looking for.

It's a bit chaotic and the visuals won't win any awards in the near future, but if you don't mind these things, Helldivers turns out to be a pretty enjoyable top-down shooter with some strategy elements thrown in for good measure.

Helldivers is the kind of game all co-op titles should strive to be. Not only does it offer a very rewarding top-down twin-stick shooter experience, but it's co-op goes beyond your own game.

Some - those that love a bit of pain in their games, to make the reward even sweeter - might be truly bewitched by this charming game, especially if they play it with the right company. All the others will find in Helldivers a fun and refreshing experience, one that's capable of adding something unique to a well known formula crowded with glorious precursors. It might not be fully on par with the best ever in its genre, but don't hesitate to give it a chance if you dig this kind of shooter.

This game is hard if your playing in parties of 1 - 3 so I would suggest you embrace the chaos and get filled up. Unfortunately it is really easy to kill teammates and draw attention to you and your team so surviving the mission is hard.

The game is a very fun coop experience, but its structure suggests that you're building up to something, and then you find out that none of the missions really matter and nothing ever changes. That killed the game for me and I haven't played it in 5 years. I've been waiting for any reason to play it again, but they've never released any sort of story mode. So disappointing. There are already so many coop games, but most of them allow you to work towards some goal.

Great game, but **** servers disconnecting every 10 minutes make it unbearable. Even if you are playing solo, it disconnects and sends you to the main menu. A real shame
