Hitman - Episode 2: Sapienza9
Apr 27, 2016
I wish they had released Sapienza as the first episode to showcase how good this game can be (and hopefully will continue to). Great massive map with plenty of things going on. The artists have done a fantastic job with the map. I have a lot of flashbacks to Blood Money. There are still some graphical and performance issues to iron out but it's running pretty well for me. Definitely worth it.

DCS: F-86F Sabre6
Nov 29, 2014
The Sabre is a great module, with very detailed models of the legendary jet. However, there are some features that are missing: Campaign and Training. For the regular price (49.99) I don't think it's worth it, especially because you can get other packages such as the Mig 21 which is very comprehensive and comes with a full SP campaign and training tutorials. If you are a die hard fan of the Sabre though, you will find that the interior and the exterior are modeled to the high standards that DCS has shown in the past.

Amazing WWII flight simulator. Great feel, visuals and fun. The game has evolved tremendously since early alpha nd now that it has been released you can appreciate how far it has come. The gameplay is fun and as soon as user made server missions are created and the mission editor released to the public the game is going to be even better. This game will flourish with time, as other sims have. It's not an arcade game although it can have some simplified controls if you wish. So don't expect a Warthunder experience. Expect more! I can only recommend using a joystick for this game, and if you can afford it, a HOTAS + TrackIR. Awesome game with a great community. I'm sure developers will expand the plane selection and maps in the future.

This game is a huge improvement over V2. Both graphics and gameplay are much better, having more options to get around and losing the linear maps. Also, the campaign is intense but the number of missions is on the low side. For the $50 they ask, it should have at least a couple more missions included in vanilla version (not DLCs) The AI is mediocre at best, very predictable and easy to deal with once you understand how it works. MP is fun but I wish there was a way to see the server settings in full detail before you enter it (maybe it's just me but I didn't find a way to do it) Overall, if you get a discount on the game, it's a solid decision, but I wouldnt pay full price for it.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag8

As a big fan of the series, having played all the PC games (hated AC3), I can say that they have really produced the best game so far. There are many things to praise, such as the visuals, the technical aspect, the story, the streamlined movements and the naval combat. The only things that I dont really like are the anymus fragmets, which are everywhere but they are useless, and the fact that its almost impossible to fall or trip. That takes away the fun and excitement of chasing people not knowing if your next jump might not be right. Now EVERY jump will make it unless you do something really stupid. They should have an option of no falling available to be switched on and off in the menu.

I find this game too similar to BF3. It feels more like a big DLC than a whole new game. However, the game is fun and as soon as launch glitches and crashes are taken care of it should be a solid game. If you played BF3 and didn't like I'd strongly suggest skipping this one. If you didn't play it or you loved it, this is a good title to get.

Fantastic game! This game is all about personal relationships and not about empires and trade. It focuses on the people and this is what makes it so unique. The depth of the relationships and the level of detail and number of variables are on par with Paradox's standards and will not disappoint you. I'm very glad I gave CK a chance. This game can provide an endless amount of hours of gameplay due to the random nature of the events.

The game is great. There is a lot to love from this game, especially the graphics, the art and Lara's agility is well done. The action and the upgrades are great and there are not boring side missions. A lot of adrenaline and explosions (the island seems to be made of dynamite because even rocks explode). It is indeed a very linear game and you will never get lost, however, it was like that for a reason and it gives the game a chance to add more mystery and drama. The puzzles were quite simple and sometimes repetitive but definitely entertaining. I think it's a must buy for those looking for a good action/adventure game.

Hitman: Absolution9
Dec 3, 2012
Many things have changed since Hitman: Blood Money. The graphics have improved immensely, each room is full of details that are unique to that room, not the classic standard decor that repeats in the whole game. The character moves more fluidly, and it includes features like the quicksooting (i think that's what is called). There are many more levels than in HM: BM, however, they are shorter and more linear. The door feature makes it impossible to finish the mission the way you want but rather the way they designed it to be finished. The contracts mode makes the game much more replayable by creating new objectives and the community seems very involved when it comes to create new contracts. As you can see, this new release is a mixed bag of new changes but I believe the pros clearly outweight the cons. Absolution is a title worth buying if you take it with an open mind and dont expect Blood money with better textures.

Big fan of the series, I have played and replayed all the AC games. I have to say I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this game so far. To be fair, I have to say that I'm at the beginning of the story but there are already so many things that bother me that take all the fun away and playing feels like a chore. The boat trip to arrive to america is so irrelevant, I just cant understand why they included it__1__ The mechanics have changed to worse, the controls have been simplified (probably to make it easier for a controller). Basically everything you need to do is done with the "E" key. __2__ there are cutscenes everywhere, and take all the immersion away. At this rate, on the next AC game you will have a cutscene every time you take out the sword.__3__ Boston (i havent seen NY but I imagine it will be similar) has wide streets and its almost impossible to reach your destination climbing and jumping through the city's roofs. Basically the developers took AC's essence and wiped they butts with it.__3__Graphics are on par with previous releases, good enough.__4__I cant say much about the Multiplayer since there are not enough players to even start a game.

I wanted to like this game but its impossible. PROS: None so far CONS: Maps are tiny, no cover, you will most likely get shot within 10 seconds of spawning. Cant climb on many objects and pathways are pre-designed, so no creativity to hide or jump around. Graphics are sub-par considering it has the Frostbite 2.0 engine (same as Battlefield 3) and there is no destruction AT ALL. It really feels like a 2006 game with bumped up graphics (for 2006, not for today). I bought it last night and I'm seriously considering not playing this game again after I finish the campaign, which is also mediocre at best. NOT worth the $60 they are asking for.

Great game, probably Game of the year so far. Its fun to go through the maps in different ways and find all the different paths to achieve the objectives. The environment is very original and maps have many options despite the linear structure. Graphics are not top notch but it kind of goes well with the cartoony style of the game. Im playing in normal difficulty and so far the AI is average at most but I expect the hard setting to be better. Some people are being too harsh, probably because they had such high expectations.

Excellent game that takes the essence of the multiplayer Mount and Blade to medieval England, with much better graphics and new weapons. Lots of fun to play although it lacks variety. I hope they come up with new weapons, maps and armors. Its also 29.99$. I really dont like the spawning system, since you could be dueling 1v1 and 3 enemies suddenly spawn on your enemy and you are outnumbered all of a sudden. I hope they do allow mods since it has a lot of unexploited potential.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations7

So far im not impressed at all. Someone already said this but i want to confirm it: It feels like a copy paste of AC: Brotherhood. There are no graphical advances, the gameplay is exactly the same. The few improvements such as hookblade and bombs don't make this game feel like a new game but just a DLC. Multiplayer maps are tiny and very annoying. And they changed Desmond and Altair's face and also Altair's voice which is a big mistake if you are following a saga like this.
However, its not a bad game, if you liked the previous ones and want to know more about the story, or you are tired of playing in Firenze or Rome buy it. Its just as much fun, I'm just disappointed that they focus on producing one game a year instead of a new well done game less often. there was a huge improvement from the first game to the second, now this one feels like the same game with no effort whatsoever.

First of all, I'm not a fan of RPGs. This said, I absolutely love this game.
To summarize what many others have already said, it offers great graphics, well written and engaging story and an incredibly fun gameplay. This will be with no doubts, game of the year, and it will be very hard to make a better game in the next few years.

Brink6

Brink is a great game full of potential, with excellent graphics and gameplay. The quick switch between objectives and the special abilities make this game really fun to play. The game has captured many good aspects from other games such as Team Fortress 2 (abilities and characters) assassins creed (parkour) and Call of duty among others (weapon customization) to create one great concept.
I think the low scores are due to the high expectations of the players, however, it is true that the game needs some patching especially for the AI and the sound going away in MP. I recommend to wait a little until these issues have been solved for those who are hesitating on buying the game.

There are many improvements in AC:B, making the gameplay more fluid and giving a higher variety of missions. Something I noticed is that it goes back to the colorfulness of the first title of the saga, since AC2 had darker and greyer colors and made it a little more depressing for my personal taste.
The single player campaign is short (i was wondering if i was even half way through when i got to the end) and if im not wrong there are 9 memory sequences. The campaign also lacks of a consistent story, although i really enjoyed it. I didnt find any bugs i can remember.
The multiplayer is fun and very exciting, although it could get a little repetitive if you overplay it. However there are different types of MP games such as Wanted, Escort, Chests and Alliance that will mix it up a little. If you are looking just for the single player, i would not pay the full price right now, but if you also want to play some fun online games it might be worth it.

The graphics are good, the physics are ok (not as impressive as they advertise it) and the gameplay is not innovative. There is nothing impressive about this game, since the nice graphics are almost a given for new games. The story can be fun sometimes and boring other times, but nothing outstanding. In my opinion its too similar to GTA and Godfather games, its not worth the money because the replay value is almost 0.

PROS
Im a big fan of all Battlefield series and this one has not disappointed me. It is a fresh change to BC2, with new well made environments.
Gameplay is exactly like BC2 but the lack of scopes in most weapons makes combat distances shorter.
CONS
Only five maps and not much choice of weapons and vehicles as opposed to BF Vietnam.
Hopefully they'll make more than the 5 existing maps.

Best title of the Battlefield series, with destructible environment and incredibly addicting multiplayer.
The single player is good but its only 10% of the fun this game has to offer.
You will need a high end computer to play this game smoothly though, it's not worthy playing it in low settings because this game is visually impressive. however, all the bugs that the game had have been successfully fixed.
After playing this game for almost 200 hours im still addicted.A must have if you like FPS!
