I absolutely loved this game. The story, the setting, the little details. No RPG fan should miss this game. Maybe I should elaborate: no RPG fan with a ton of patience and willing to reload their game a million times should miss it. Cause OMG, is this game buggy! There are so many and they mess up the game really badly. I reloaded 10+ time at one single quest cause stuff kept going wrong (at some point the guy i was escorting got stuck halfway into a wall...). That being said, I still loved it even if it made me want to throw my PS3 out of the window a few times.

This is not the best the gaming industry has to offer, if I'm being honest. First of all, it has a ton of bugs - sever ones, too. I've died or had followers die numerous times because something went wrong; I got stuck, enemies got stuck etc. A few hours in it gets repetitive and really, really easy to survive. The story is a bit all over the place, and not really original. The AI is so, so dumb... But despite all these, there is something here. An idea, a beginning, something that kept pulling me back for more. And i see a lot of reviewers who criticized it say they too spend a long time playing it. Maybe in the future they could polish a sequel and make it something really spectacular. And damn, it just looks so pretty.

One of the best RPG in recent times. I'm a big fan of DA and I think this game does a great job of continuing the tradition. It looks great and has a pretty good story, although some cliche made their way in there. It's also a pretty long game, which is a breath of fresh air, given recent games' length. My favourite thing of all is the party banter. All of the characters have fully fleshed personalities and it's fun to hear them bicker or gang up on one another. And they are not nearly as annoying as characters in previous installments. The game is almost perfect. Unfortunately, there are still a truck load of bugs, mostly minor, but annoying. Also, playing with mouse and keyboard is kinda uncomfortable, you are better off with a controller if you have one.

This is not a good game. This is a very bad game with good intentions, but with a lack of proper execution and coherent vision. It's buggy as hell, e.g. sometimes dying makes you advance the game or doors don't open. It's pretty badly thought out as well. You get killed in 2-3 hits, and don't get the option to increase your health or your defence. The story in convoluted and confusing. Safe yourself the trouble and your money and don't buy this game!

I didn't have very high expectations from a game that was a spin off of another game. I figured it was just meant to ride the popularity of the Drakengard series. Boy, was I wrong! This game is amazing!!! From the awesome story and unique characters, to the great battle mechanics and the music, everything in this game stands out as truly remarkable. It's really strange how much the critics slammed this game versus how much the players loved it. Four years since it's release, it's still standing strong. Any ARPG fan should play it!

This game had a lot of potential. It had decent and pretty graphics, a nice skills system and really interesting combat. But I couldn't get over just how horrible the storyline is. It's like the writing department wanted to see how many cliques they could cram into it! And the main characters are just so, so stupid!!! The princess manages to get herself kidnap over and over, and the main character has to go from place to place following her **** the whole thing is just cringe worthy.

I waited a LOT for this game, and overall I was not disappointed. Too bad it could have been way better. There are a lot of issues that could have been worked out before launching the game, such as the well talked about hit box problem. On the plus side, the graphics look nice and work very well even on less powerful systems. However, the story and feel of the game fall flat. A true DS1 fan can easily tell they changed directors, the atmosphere just isn't up to par, unfortunately. The story is convoluted, confusing and feels recycled. Certain assets are even reused from DS1 and instead of being a nod to the previous game as seems to be intended, it comes off as lazy and half assed.

I have never played a game with such a high meta score and so,so many bugs. Huge ones, too.Including bugs that halt the game progression, random black screens, failing to load messages, and non responsive actions. I spent more time reloading previous saves than actually playing, because the game wouldn't let me progress. Was the testing team asleep the whole time this game was being made?! Too bad, because it has a brilliant gameplay mechanics and a lot of cool stuff.
