First act is exellent, followed by a pretty poor second act and writing uturn that doesnt work inside of video games. Luckly act 3 throws the book out the window and solves the poor choices of the second act and complete a good meaninful story. Gameplay is solid throughout but a little bit tedious to play for long times expecially endgame areas and bosses.

Very strong start, completelty collapses and over extends after act 1. Writing that doesnt work within gameplay but works in movies. Had to force myself to bother picking the game back up, 1 party member is the most bland boring cast member ive seen in any rpgs, which you only know she doesnt like to swin until late game. Gameplay is solid, then adds to much mechanics in arc 2 making the gameplay tedious rather than fun. Most likely these review are act 1 review and not further where the game completely ****.

Completed in 20hours, was extremely boring story, no gyms or leagues. Easily exploited gameplay that allowed me to catch everything with a single ball and no aggro. Graphic so old it looks like ps2 era. No idea why people rate this higher than sword and sheild when it's half baked game. Add ability to throw a ball which is in pokemon go so it's nothing new.

Here is 3 things it does new as reviewers say it doesnt do anything new. 1 first ever standoff system in a open world, we have been calling for this since skyrim, its amazing. 2 First ever natural hud and organic quest system, second thing thats here to stay in open worlds, 3 Its the First open world set in japan where you can play a hybrid samurai ninja or archer class and fully swap between whenever you want. Its a entirely skill based system, nothings super over leveled, you win by mastering parry and stances. Graphically its the best game, ever. Nothing will touch this for a long time, The gameplay switch between either, fighting as a samurai/ninja for 15mins the the next 15 mins is the most chill relaxing experience traveling a stunning world, petting foxs and climbing moutains for rewards. The Quest reward you with rare gear or upgrade parts so they never feel like a waste. This is pure game, and its clear game of the year.

30 hours of story that goes nowhere, and the destruction of the narrative in the first game makes this game completely pointless. It's a character they added were terrible while they destroyed the old characters entire basis for the plot to happen.

Well it's a reboot not a remake so for false advertising it loses 1 point. Second point lost is the poor story that has replaced to original in this reboot. H I find it hard to believe a team who has a job of making a remake **** given 5 years could have spent time on a mission to find 3 cats, yet couldn't d finish the rest of the game. So I give it a 3 for the 3 cats that took all the time and development d t of the rest of the game.

Knack was a flawless brawler but it lacked depth and story, and truely a blend of both gameplay and story. These issue have been addressed and platforming has also been added. With coop added as well the improvements are shining in this game as a game that defines a generation. No microtransactions, no dlc, a complete story. Cheaper than other games on the market on release.

This game is top tier rpg. Beatiful graphics and lighting make for jaw dropping landscapes, great story, characters and choice you make matter. When i saw the first cgi video of this game i thought, wow that looks amazing. Wow another dead island situation. pros - very pretty and sounds nice. Cons- Well the game is generally completely unbalanced. Some Hero like mcree can roll and fire a 6 round clip. Other can fly agross the map at super speed, have two health bars and unlimited ammo. Yup completely unbalanced, once guys is a auto turret that can wipe out the team instantly. There is 1 mode split into 3 to pretend there is 3 modes. Caputure points then escort train. Other modes are just capture points and just escort train. Honestly a huge rip off. Maps seem ok, but are unbalanced to the flying heros. Classes are broken since offence is basically useless and defence and tanks completely over power them in any 1v1. Some support have more dps then offence. The game is a huge mess, someone needs to completely rework the heros. Now ive played both tf2 and battleborn and shadowrun so i know how balanced hero shooters work. Honestly its the worst of the bunch. Gameplay feel great if i was aged 3-14.

I will start by saying, all negitive reviews talk about a game called overwatch, which by my knowlegde isnt a game that exists since its release date is weeks away and isnt even the same genre. Battleborn is not the first moba shooter, its been attempted by shadow run and most known team fortress 2. It completely crushes those games by graphics, gameplay, balance, story and content, therefore the best moba shooter of its genre. Since it is the most innovative of its genre it must get a high rating. People say its boring, or to much stuff is happening, we have a large cage for the sheep over here its called call of duty and battefield, they never change and are for gamers of the lowest skill level, you see all the kids at school play it, you will be with people at the mental age. Mobas are skill based games, hard to master, we need more games like this, we have no hardcore shooters in the market.

This game is a incredible strategy rpg, most of this genre are easy and only the story holds up the boring grind. This game has near zero grind and more, can you make it further to get the item drop? Every fight matters, you need to out skill the dark souls based map designs that punish you for making a mistake. Story is something of a attack on titans feel, if any party member dies game over. Im not a fan of the genre but this game had me battling a level into the early hours of the morning trying to over come, while other missions my main character was blocking a entire army going all out on him while my gunners and mages picked off the enemy army. Nothing better than watching a strategy rpg finally compare to a anime when you watch geoff blocking over 20 attacks using improved block including named enemies after the loss of a a friend to make sure his friends dont need to fight the battle and have a chance of losing another. Ive never seen this in this genre. Improvements to the items systems need to be made, upgrade system is needed, graphics could be better, need for anime/cgi cut scenes are clear.

Well its hard to review a game which begins with the halo one formula of game design then ends with the EXACT ENEMY designs of borderlands last area. The game does nothing new, and has no story or personality. Its not a mmo but only can be played online, kicks you for no reason at important boss fights. In not trolling and ive never given 1 out of 10 to any game in my life. Im serious at how much a waste of money this game is. Game incorrect- interactive narrative. Therefore it shouldn't even be in this section. The gameplay is 3 thing walk, click maybe 5 buttons, listen to the narrator and endings. No matter which way you go that's all you get. This game, which is very much a interactive movie have extremely nice moments in the story as well as heart racing action, its no heavy rain but its still good. Graphics and sound are stunning and ellan page is great. Sadley its done in a bad order instead of a normal timeline making the story feel broken.
