Stand together men. For while those who despise this game may pour out from the cracks of this earth, we shall abate the horde and send these encroaching, dithering vermin back from whence they came!
Forsooth, I am not a fan! How can one adulterate our beloved creation. Gollum was so pure and kind hearted, revered and benevolent he was perceived, but now he's nought but a smouldering wreck, an ember of his former glory.
Ah.... The memories envelope around me, even now. I do not recall the cover art looking so real, however, I can assure all who still have a functioning PS2 that this is the sole game you need.
One of the first games I recall playing as a kid. Just like Age Of Mythology I played it on Disc, and on the old Gamespy Arcade system, which I'm unsure is even around anymore. I'm glad I acquired this game on Steam as well, before it was besmirched and impugned by the 'remastered' version.
I adore the humour, dialogue, accents and graphics. It brings back nostalgia for when I used to play games on the PS2 as a wee bairn. I'm only 4 hours in, but it's all immensely memorable so far, and I will continue and hopefully enjoy what's next in the Skalds tale.
