Single player is worthless with a stupid AI and limited repeated content. World War Z is based on a book (there was also a movie with Brad Pit) but unfortunately in this game there is no real story the game feels more like an arena shooting game with stages made specifically for multiplayer. It's a very shallow experience from the single player perspective. Very disappointed so far since i have read the book.
Not a fun game anymore they made the sequel into a try-hard Politics Management Simulator nothing is the same with the previous Frostpunk title. You now have to satisfy annoying factions all the time and run the city like some puzzle game trying to find out the correct pieces to make everything work. This is a try-hard mess where you have to save scumming all the time until you find a way to succeed. Sorry, this is not the Frostpunk i was waiting to play i don't like it.
Some childish **** humor in the initial episodes (I guess you could argue that it is a matter of taste though, but it was more odd and misplaced than fun)I would have to point out one thing that I really HATE with this game though: content is divided into very short episodes and spread out over a fairly long horizon. I understand the financial/risk incentives to do so, but to me this is the same as telling the customers that the game is likely to be cancelled after episode 4. Offline/singleplayer games tend to fade very quickly, so the risk is fairly high and I really don't appreciate this move!In this context, the value proposition (this price tag for 2-3 hours of entertainment) is also terrible.
And overpriced mediocre game with a childist story and stupid NPCs with cringe conversations. Dated graphics with blurry textures and pastel colored environments everywhere, 10 hours in this and t's not an RPG even if the developers say the opposite. Gameplay is kinda clanky don't waste your money for this
Ugliest and unoptimized game i have ever played. Dumb looking cartoon characters and ugly textures everywhere. Repetitive gameplay and a stupid plot. Simply awful do not buy !!
Horrible confusing gameplay. Most abilities are useless made just for uplifting or downlifting units stats. Too much grind during battles and annoying bugs also trying to read columns of texts to understand the story is a pain if i wanted to read that much i would open a book and not play videogames. Difficulty is all over the place sometimes enemies are easy sometimes are extremely hard and space battles with your voidship are boring and not enjoyable.
Great idea but poor execution. Extremely stressful with over-the-top micromanagement and unnecessary time limits. Tutorial leaves out a lot of very important game mechanics like the assignment function unless you read every page of the manual. Only way to improve is to die a lot and learn through reloading the game. This game needs some refinement first remove the time limits (or make them better) and add a proper save function. I will come back in a month and check how the updates are doing until then i am not going to keep playing.
Coop-oriented garbage very bad gameplay if you care about a solid single player experience. Useless AI companions that don't know how to shoot straight and even shoot your own mech. Unfortunatly you need to play it coop with other humans playing as friendly mechs or else you are going have a hard time enjoying this as a Solo experience with AI companions. All missions are balanced for using squads and since the AI in this game is very stupid you are going to face hell of time playing this Solo
Honestly I’m baffled by how Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath a 17 year old game is better in EVERY category to this new $40 game and i don't understand the perfect scores from some reviewers and unknown individuals have they even played a classic RTS in their life? The game isn't fun or satisfying. Micromanaging unit abilities in a Real time strategy are you kidding me? Unit sounds are bad quality and most of them annoying. Maps and graphics all look foggy and blurry. No building garrison apart from few and building system is unorganized and foolishly designed. Navigation system is cooked as well (no right click hold to navigate quickly) and no reverse button (another bad macro management). it's simply a worse version of older games by pretty much every metric. Readability is bad. Less control of your units no reverse moves, infantry that can't enter buildings and other negative things i noticed that older games have done a lot better. Not even close to how much epic Red Alert 2 and its expansion was.
