This is a game that is fun but flawed. The combat system is pretty brain-dead hit C down a blizzard potion, click and you win. The blizzard potion is not even always necessary. Though this is not the draw of the game at all. The draw is the setting and the Characters, as many of you know The Witcher series is incredible source material for video games. Amazing monsters, Characters, and cities await you in every Witcher video game this one is no exception. The plot is overall pretty interesting. I would rate the game higher but the dialogue in this title feels incredibly dis-jointed in comparison to earlier titles like Baldur's Gate. There were many times when a character mentioned something that i had not done yet. Characters randomly disappear in the most frustrating times possible with zero indication of where the hell they went. There is also a lot of re-used character models here making things even more odd. Every merchant is the same fat guy with a coat. The game is kinda the forgotten child of the series but should definitely be played if you're a fan of the series.

This game is actually terrible and it is entirely because of the ill-thought out mechanics. FIRST and most important, the leveling system is completely broken. If a character is about one level above another they will do 30-90 damage to their victim, said victim will do 1 damage seemingly regardless of the class or ability they vainly attempt to use. UNLESS you're playing archer, whom just annihilates everything in his path with infinite range and zero remorse. So that's OK right just keep your characters leveled right? WRONG! You can't level your characters you can only level the classes they use. This makes playing any other class than archer, mage and soldier completely pointless unless you want to grind every time you earn a new class and you WILL NOT want to grind. Grinding is incredibly tedious and time consuming. It's really time consuming to try and trigger a random battle and even if you do you probably won't gain any exp for the brand new shiny class you just earned anyways. The AI does everything in its' power to annoy the hell out of you without actually trying to win. After all, one archer one level ahead of your enemies can completely decimate their forces. Trying to level a new class is about as fun as chewing chalk. The AI mercilessly targets your weakest character with really zero strategy beyond that. This makes it stupidly frustrating to level new classes because they will just die instantly and you'll gain no exp for them. This game blows because it takes everything great about Strategy RPG's and spits on them. There is no incentive to play creatively, character building is far too tedious to be fun, and it's also dated because this is a butchered port of a snes game. The worst part is that there appears to be a ton of potential, the skill and spell system appears deep and full of content, but you'll never use it because it's incredibly sub-par compared to that archer. So sub-par, you'll lose miserably attempting to play with them. The verdict is play Final Fantasy Tactics

This is an incredibly unpolished Yakuza res-skin. All of the game-play changes to fit with the North Star Franchise are a detriment to the core combat system, especially the way special moves and grabs are treated. If an enemy blocks there is essentially nothing that can be done as the grab mechanic is completely gone, and unfortunately every boss in the game is programmed to just sit on block artificially lengthening fights to the point of tedium. This is just one example of the lack of overall polish compared to it's parent series. The graphics are barely above or at ps2 quality. There are about 10 character designs in the entire gang so you'll be seeing a lot of the same faces on "different" characters. The leveling system is unnecessarily restrictive forcing you to collect five different types of orbs each unlocking their own specific sets of skills. This essentially railroads you in to leveling the way the game wants you to. On the positive side, most of the mini-games are lifted from its' parent series, meaning there is fun to be had here. The game also does pretty well in fights with a massive amount of enemies because the AI goes brain-dead like most Yakuza games and you can blow all the enemies up in a very flashy style. The ultimate verdict is, unless you are a huge FotNS fan play an actual Yakuza game.

This is a great game, for a fighter. The fighting feels fun and very approachable compared to other entries. The game is an absolute blast to play with friends which makes it a great party game. Don't expect much else outside of that because it's a beautiful simplicity; 1 on 1 realistivc style UFC fights that's the entire game and I'm ok with that.

It's Dark souls in 2D it's like Castlevania mixed with the souls series which becomes literally the definition of fun. -2 points for blatantly ripping off every bit of the the Souls Series formula though. It even has the same little title cards when you beat a boss or die.

This is another game that continues the recently popular Diablo with guns genre. This one is especially boring this time around with a piss poor PVP system and an extremely MMO like emphasis on grinding. In short it's Destiny in a different setting which boils down to uninspired Skinner box **** only this time even the PVP is awful.

Automatron is a standard DLC in the gaming world today. It has a decent premise that is never fully realized, ,includes a few new weapons, 2 New dungeons which are the standard walk, shoot, and slash bethesda affair, and about 3 static characters. In other words it's one of those DLC's you only buy if you reaaaaaaallly just need more of the game.
