The expert editing keeps the pace up as the story dashes from place to place, but there are moments where this work really shines, particularly when acting as a way to juxtapose life in the Reich vs life in the Resistance. There’s something for everyone this season, and though it’s a slow-burn drama compared to some shows on TV today, the 10-episode watch is well worth your time.

Much of the six hours made available for preview centers on Juliana and Joe--and at times their story can drag. But the redeeming glory of Castle is the expansive world of characters it creates.

I am a 73-year-old veteran and a World War II buff and I think The Man in the High Castle is the best miniseries I've ever seen in my entire life. The thing about it is you have to watch it from beginning to end because it takes some bizarre twists. I wish I could buy it on DVD.

Catching, touching, exciting and mindblowing. This show is very well crafted. I hope more poeple could watch it.

On a macro-scale, the series is absorbing, but it takes a few episodes to settle into the smaller stories that are unfolding.

Netflix might be the dominant streaming service player when it comes to original series, but quantity never trumps quality, as Man proves. The detail in imagining New York City as a Nazi stronghold remains extraordinary, from the skyscrapers bearing the flag of the Third Reich down to the swastika ice sculpture dripping at a fancy party.

Season 2 definitely has more action and digs deeper into the mystery, at least in the five episodes made available.

The series, in large part, fails to deliver on its fascinating premise. Simply put, it’s plodding, moves at a glacial pace and overreaches with too many diffuse narrative strands.

It’s the worst TV show of 2016. ... By the end of its second season, The Man in the High Castle has essentially abandoned everything fascinating about its first season in favor of a junky sci-fi drama with reality-hopping characters and a bunch of caricature Nazi bad guys.

The world building is insanely good, so many details. This world breathes National Socialism in every street and every room. They really went above and beyond with terrifying **** trivia. For me season 4 was the perfect climax. Gotta love it.

Good tv show in general terms, it sure had a lot more to develop from such interesting plot, they had very good ideas that they did not even care about developing and they just ended it like if they ran out of money and had to end the show at the point it was, no proper ending to a show that was good and interesting. With a proper closure I would have given it an **** I dare to say that it does not even have an ending at all.

This show had an interesting premise but failed to execute it entirely. The story also turned into an unnecessarily convoluted and overly complicated plot that tarnished what little interest I had in it. Season 1 was watchable, but every other season was a waste of time. It gets a three simply for having average acting and a somewhat original plot, but the low budget and poor execution make it into a poor show.

Season 1 - Interesting
Season 2 - Okay.
Season 3 - Bad.
Season 4 - Straight Trash The series started off well, with an interesting premise. I’m not necessarily against politics in TV and Film, especially when we are talking about a series such as The Man in the High Castle. It is inherently political. However, Season 4 took this too far. It felt more like I was watching political propaganda than a TV series for enjoyment. A lot of the social commentary felt forced and negatively impacted the flow of dialogue in the series. The Irish guy, the Trade Minister and Smith are all decent characters though played by decent actors.
