In the long run, it's a good bet that NBC's new crime drama The Endgame is going to prove infuriatingly terrible. But for now, it's electrifying. It's the crack of television, except you don't need a pipe, just a remote.

For now, "The Endgame" makes enough of the right moves to inspire curiosity about where this intricate scheme ultimately leads. While it doesn't tell you much about its endgame, as this sort of exercise goes, that's a good place to start.

One of the best tv shows out there at the moment. The story is so intriguing that you feel that you need more of this show all the time. Maybe first episodes are boring but at the same time the whole show watches on one breath, its something new in the genre of crime stuff and realized perfectly. All the story builds up from the first episode and with each new one you get to see the full picture, at the same time it makes you think all the time you watch the show. For me, its no surprise that the show is called Endgame, if you are a bit more patient and like to think while you watch the show its 100% must watch in 2022...

The best thriller on TV to date. It keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first second the show starts and every episode after that. If you love Reddington in The Blacklist you love The Endgame even more. The characters are way richer then in The Blacklist with a better story line. I do highly recommend this show!

NBC’s conceptually familiar, narratively overambitious, and yet somehow still enjoyable The Endgame, which defies easy dismissal thanks to the uncontainable charisma of Morena Baccarin.

The Endgame feels like it wants to be a little crazy, and it's straining against its self-imposed strictures.

I don't much care about the endgame, but how it all started has its moments. [28 Feb - 13 Mar 2022, p.7]

The Endgame is by turns boring and by other turns generic and nonsensical. It’s story isn’t compelling enough to follow beyond the first episode, and we’re figuring that the interplay between its stars isn’t enough to keep people watching.

The Endgame pilot is bad and the second episode offers no evidence of course correction to make things better, so I’m prepared to move on, even if NBC wasn’t. ... An obvious dud.

Have enjoyed the first five episodes. It is full of action and psychological intrigue. It is the best drama show I have seen in quite some time on regular TV.

The Endgame attempts to be a fast-paced action series but feels very sloppy and rushed. A good story, action, or drama allows you to have a little curiosity and connection with the characters. Each scene is over the top, filled with cheesy lines and needless dramatic responses. I felt uninterested in the characters and the storyline. Many reviews say that it is like Blacklist, but to me, the crimes committed coupled with the action sequences felt very much like a show from the late eighties. The Endgame also reminds me a little of Burn Notice. For some reason, I loved the cheesy lines and over-the-top dramatics of that show. I guess that proves that you shouldn't listen to my opinion and see the show yourself. As always, if you made it this far, thank you for reading, and if you watch the show, let me know what you think. Damian ****

I tuned in for Morena Baccarin, and turned off out of boredom. Lot's of cliches, too much exposition, and even the action scenes are dull. Don't believe the fake user reviews, the critics actually got this one right. It's a real yawner.
