Taken as a whole, Stranger Things feels like a major series to me, the kind that manages something quite rare: it stays with you for years without ever fully losing what made it special in the first place. The first season was an emotional jolt, almost a return to childhood and to a kind of adventure that felt lost. It had mystery, horror, warmth, and a very pure sense of discovery. Beyond monsters, laboratories, and portals, what truly holds Stranger Things together is the group itself, their friendships, tensions, losses, and the sense that we’ve been growing up alongside them. Doing that without completely losing its soul is already a huge achievement.
