Sad to see the series never finished. It was a great take on sonics encounters with Robotnic

Sonic Underground is an incredible cartoon and has incredible characters with great potential like Sonia Manic and Queen Aleena. Sega could make these characters canonical for the Sonic franchise and the design of these characters be modernized and have a story where Sonic is looking to know his origin and with that ends up discovering that he has brothers and a mother and Sonic would go on an adventure to find them and meet them for the first time and Sonic talking to them and his bonds with his mother and brother forming and with Queen Aleena still allowing Sonic to have his freedom and Sonic promising that he will visit his mother and with Sonic also taking his friends to meet his mother and brothers.

This was a cheap event to cash in on the popularity of the franchise.
Ben Hurst considers it his worst work.

The premise is weird
