A soul-deep sense of humanity grounds "Heroes."

"Heroes" may be the dark horse among this year's serialized dramas. It also might be a dud down the road. Because after two episodes, it's not even remotely clear what these "special" ordinary people are capable of.

The first hour of Heroes answers enough questions and moves the story forward in such a way that a few "Huh?" moments won't matter as long as they're answered in short order and don't linger for too long.

If not exactly compelling, the pilot episode is engaging and often quirkily funny.

This is... one of those concepts seemingly destined to leave a small but outspoken fan contingent grumbling next summer at Comic-Con about its cancellation.

This show, which was once so thrilling and fun, has become full of itself, its characters spouting crazy nonsense.

Cette série fait vraiment très fort dans tous les domaines : écriture (la plupart du temps d’une grande rigueur et inventivité), la musique (superbe), la mise en scène (étonnamment soignée), les effets spéciaux (bluffants pour une série) et la distribution (bien choisie). Les superlatifs manquent rapidement. Sa plus grande faute finalement… c’est de ne pas avoir un final satisfaisant, hélas ! La saison 4 se finit en queue de poisson et la saison 5 a été annulée. Certes bien dommage même si un examen attentif de la 4ème saison laisse apparaître une baisse de qualité sensible par rapport aux 3 premières ! mais globalement, ne crachons pas dans la soupe, ça reste de la belle ouvrage, spectaculaire et inventive.

First season was great, second season was ok for me but then the fact they didnt end it properly really made it all even worse

Underrated gem of a superhero show that I barely hear anyone in real life talk about. It deserved better. With an ensemble cast and intertwining plots, Heroes arguably paved the way for both Game of Thrones and The Boys. Great characters, lore, and narrative, and while I don't think I'd ever rewatch it, I think about it fondly. Just a solid show that didn't outlive itself.

A TV show for idiots. I skipped it back in the day because my one 'friend' who was notorious for liking the dumbest things was an avid watcher. The show is just stupid and decided to skip the actually interesting part of a TV show, you know.... the part where you develop characters. Invincible girl who has a 'meltdown' about how hard her life is because... she's invincible? And then she saves some guys life and.... runs scared off screen after being successful? Three character arcs in the first episode ALREADY involve having no father/husband. It's just drama sob story crap. Nobody is arresting an old White woman for stealing socks, either. They injure the old woman while apprehending and they can be paying millions long term in medical if her hip breaks. That's security 101. It's just a dumb show, for dumb people.

This is a combination of a bad plot, bad actors and lots of episodes how this had more than one season or how it even got past 10 episodes I'll never know
