Description: An adrenaline-fueled new docu-reality series, "Film School" turns the tables on four New York University graduate students--and captures their own personal dramas on camera as they scramble to complete their first big "calling card" films--award-winning, 10-minute thesis featurettes--at the famed Tisch School of the Arts. The latest offering from IFC captures the tension and pressure that builds as the ambitious young directors face spirit-sapping budget/fund-raising issues, casting, location and deadline problems and logistical challenges at every turn. NYU Film Alums Spike Lee, Martin Scorcese, Oliver Stone, and Amy Heckerling also make appearances in the show, which is directed by Oscar nominated director Nanette Burstein ("On the Ropes", "The Kid Stays in the Picture").
