Entergalactic

Whether you consider it to be a television special or a feature-length film, the classification matters less than how reflective it all becomes as a work of striking animation that finds beauty in the every day of adult life.

As an art piece, “Entergalactic” is evocative, beautiful, and smart. I can picture it playing at parties for decades to come. Just don’t approach it as a TV show.

The fusion of music and narrative works wonderfully as we follow a group of well-drawn (in more ways than one), hilarious, likable and empathetic characters.

A celebration of the delightful messiness of human connection in a world that would push you to isolate yourself lest you be hurt by those you most gravitate toward, this episodic story about boy-meets-girl finds new textures in an otherwise familiar story.

Kid Cudi and Barris do a fine job of making Entergalactic feel like much more than a vehicle for Cudi’s latest music; it’s a hip hop take on a familiar story, but is a satisfying watch despite knowing how it’s going to turn out.

It plays like a feature, a sweet, corny and fairly adorable rom-com, temperamentally old-fashioned but made newfangled by virtue of being animated and the musical tie-in. ... If the characters do at times exhibit the expressiveness of the Sims, it’s visually appealing overall, with smart camera angles and framing and well-limned details.

Perhaps the individual parts of Entergalactic might have been more effective if they’d been chopped up into individual music videos. Taken all together, however, they create a mind-numbing experience whose writing and visual stylings remain dispiritingly earthbound.

Such a beautiful, fantastical show. I love the writing, great characters, great story. Such a wonderful getaway. I hope this show really blows up

Muuuy común y la verdad si me dio mucha pereza después de un rato. Además es un anuncio dentro de la película y todo está lame. La animación la salva de ser tan aburrida y con tantos clichés.

Esta película representa en muchas cosas la sociedad de hoy en día. Como se vive, como se maneja la gente y la importancia que tiene la vida sexual(no es que antes no lo haya tenido, es que ahora no es un tema tan tabú y expresarse en estos temas es más libre). Tiene cosas flojas como la trama, los intereses de los personajes y las excesivas apariciones de las adicciones. Pero tiene una bruta banda sonora y una magnífica animación. Se queda ahí, es solo una película más, no pretende ser nada que no es y dura lo que tiene que durar.

Entergalactic stands out mainly because of its striking visual style. The animation feels fresh, colorful, and charming, almost like watching a stylish graphic novel come alive. The atmosphere carries most of the weight and creates moments that feel warm and **** story itself is very straightforward, a classic love plot without surprises. If the soundtrack style is your thing, it can elevate the experience, but since it didn’t work for you, the movie loses a significant part of its impact.

Painfully boring story. Shallow characters with no development. Lazy animation.
