Description: Byker Grove is set in Newcastle, England in a youth group centre called The Grove. The show airing as part of CBBC, began airing on 8th November 1989 and after 363 programmes, endless cast and crew changes and facelifts, ended on 10th December 2006. The show launched many careers for young actors, including Ant & Dec and Andrew Hayden-Smith.
