Unstoppable

Ma Dong-seok's Gravitas Meets Kinetic Directorial Flair I thoroughly enjoyed Unstoppable! It hits that perfect sweet spot between high-octane action and genuine heart, staying grounded enough to feel gritty while remaining incredibly entertaining throughout. The pacing is spot-on - it never drags, which is impressive. Ma Dong-seok is an absolute powerhouse, bringing the perfect amount of gravitas to anchor the film; his performance is truly pivotal. I was also genuinely surprised by the direction from Kim Min-ho, especially considering this was his directorial debut. While the characters are admittedly straightforward and a bit thinly written, that simplicity actually works in the film's favour, allowing the focus to remain razor-sharp on the visceral action. A fantastic watch. 7.5/10.
