One word “Daaammmnnn”. This film for most may see this as something that could only happen in the movies. But watching this may have only confirm the saying “If it’s already a movie then it already happened” This film leaves you thinking about how little we know about how society is being ran. It’s not the characters you fall in love with but the concept surrounding them. Overall the film leaves you asking “How long have they clone Tyrone?”

At first glance, They Cloned Tyrone is a silly satire of early ’70s blaxploitation flicks like Super Fly or Willie Dynamite that adds what writer-director Juel Taylor and writer Tony Rettenmaier call a “... dash of Scooby Doo.” Fortunately, the filmmakers here have something more in mind.

The story takes a while to get going, then rambles a lot once the premise has been established. And the dialogue zooms along so fast that it can be hard to follow. But young filmmakers are supposed to take chances like this.

Unique idea that keeps you laughing. Not too serious but enough of a plot to keep you engaged. This movie balances in the middle in a good way. As always, shoutout Jamie Foxx.

This movie had a lot of potential but it could not decide on being a comedy or a serious Sci-fi movie. All 3 of our main characters are scumbags and are unlikeable. Felt like it dragged towards the end. The racist commentary was appropriate.
