Gripes aside, if you’re looking for a low-key, old-school, charming-as-a-basket-of-kittens lark, give Then Came You a shot. It serves as a great reminder of Gifford’s prodigious talents – and as a hint that she may yet have more to reveal.

There are moments when Ferguson’s riffing and Gifford’s riffing back or starting a song that he interrupts that the chemistry she saw and wanted to exploit is obvious. But good gawd, Kathie Lee. This is such a clumsy, cheesy, contrived script, with every contrivance obvious and abruptly introduced. And misshapen!

This movie was just what I wanted to see. Simple, direct, entertaining, charming, pleasant, real. Took me away from all this other nastiness in the world to allow a couple of hours of pure, unadulterated fun. No, it's not going to win any Oscars, but it wins the award for being a thoroughly entertaining movie that is just that. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm probably going to buy it at some point. Happy to have seen it as a Fathom event. Great to be back in theaters. This is my fifth or sixth foray back, and has been true everywhere the crews are meticulous in their efforts to keep everyong safe. So far, I've been to AMC, Cinemark, and Regal.

Trailer looked great so was looking forward to seeing it especially as there was going to be a lot of beautiful scottish scenery, but unfortunately had to turn it off as it was Utter Pish as Jack and Victor would say. In fact cant remember the last time i seen such a crap film. Extremely disappointed. Total waste of £4.99 rental price.
