Surfing the crowd in Altman-lite style, pic skims the surface entertainingly but goes limp in its stabs at seriousness, especially in the final scenes, which all but drown in emotional confrontations and hasty happy endings.

It was pretty standard comedy. The characters were all stereotypical and cliché, the movie was predictable and there was some unnecessary drama , but the acting was good (especially Ethan Embry, he made every scene he was in a lot better), the movie was entertaining and it was fun to watch. It's not the best comedy about marriage out there, but it's still pretty good.
