The linchpin is Johnson, who turns in a vulnerable yet confident performance as an always chill woman who might be too willing to make a relationship work, a role she’s mastered since starring in the “Fifty Shades” trilogy.

Guts will be busted, and sides will be split. Heck, moviegoers might even learn to kiss and make up with comedies for good.

This film was laugh out loud funny. If I could give it a 12 I would. It's refreshing to know that comedies still exist. It’s a must see!

Shot on 35 mm this film has an art film quality. People were laughing out loud in theater. Acting was good. Writing was good and not over burdened with dialog. The physical comedy was fun. Sometimes it's nice to watch a film for what it is...a Comedy! No need to over analyze it. It's funny and fun!

Splitsville goes off the rails in increasingly entertaining fashion, with every single part offering something new and unpredictable. It’s a film of well-crafted jokes that are based in character and a willingness to more than go for broke when needed.

Splitsville succeeds because it never seems fragmented. As a director, Covino dances between the sensual and the silly while constantly exploring the core thesis of the messiness of relationships.

Though there are elaborately choreographed long takes that smack of contemporary moviemaking, “Splitsville” belongs more to a screwball tradition stretching back to the 1930s.

It’s a film not without occasional moments of spark, and flits along quite happily, but Splitsville seems continually intent on undermining itself, and in the process becomes totally forgettable.

While this new film is that rare visually striking indie comedy, the clever dialogue and potentially provocative scenarios eventually fizzle, resulting in an unfocused commentary on the absurdity of modern love that is, itself, far removed from reality.

ne olmuş ne olmamış güzel absürt yer yer komik bir hikaye sunsada bize hep bir eksik varmış gibi hissettirdi, vurucu bir yön eksik filmde.

This movie is well-made and very funny. It has one of the best fighting scenes in cinema ever. Unfortunately, the ending for me was disappointing and wasn't a good conclusion for the character arcs.

Painful to watch. Illogical and underdeveloped characters, flat dialogue, boring...skip this one

One of the dumbest movies I’ve seen in a long time. There’s not one even remotely funny scene, funny line, or physical comedy. It was a chore sitting through this. A few people left the theater about a quarter of the way in.
And, the incredibly uninteresting, unlikable cast doesn’t help. Matt Belloni can do hundreds of The Town podcasts discussing why no one goes to the movies. The answer is simple - this is the dreck were being offered.
