A sonically superior if sometimes draggy affair that earns its stripes by affirming the timelessness of Waters’ thematic concerns and proving that fresh material doesn’t have to be the medicine we’re forced to swallow to hear the classics.

For the fans, Us + Them offers a meticulously constructed concert experience for a fraction of the price of a live ticket and a chance to join a chorus in yelling back at the TV. For the casually curious, be forewarned: While Waters still burns with righteous zeal, at an often repetitious 135 minutes, the film will leave your backside feeling uncomfortably numb.

Stunning. If you had a chance to see the tour, you can relive the excitement with this film.

Waters relies heavily on Pink Floyd songs to keep himself afloat, but it's nothing different than what McCartney does and at least the songs are still alive. Although I must admit that it is still a great live show, I can honestly live without another live version of Wish You Were Here or Another Brick in The Wall Part 2. At least I give him more credit for revisiting a few tracks from Animals and his latest solo album. Another contribution to his huge discography, but is just to empathize that there's nothing new in it.
