Pride is an unapologetic crowd-pleaser of a movie, but it has some potent points to make, and the reality of what happened has a power of its own.

A feel-good gem that made me painfully happy. Never had I wanted a 2-hour long film to last longer.

A beautiful film about how the world would work. People help other people, no matter age, gender, sexual preferences, color. And the best of this film is that is a true story, so that proves the humanity can do the things right. I love it

Pride naively thinks it can change the world with a single movie. Talk about fighting spirit. I couldn't have liked it more.

Pride should leave audiences smiling and inspired. But it would have been a much more groundbreaking film if it had been released 30 years ago.

Stephen Beresford’s script’s has its cornball fish-out-of-water touches to be sure, but Pride is a bona fide crowd-pleaser — wearing its heart on its sleeve as the film builds to an ending that’s as satisfying as it is surprising.

The film the tough true story has spawned is as formulaically cheery, didactically "uplifting," and fundamentally false as a Disney sports movie.

Fantastic movie! Historically educating while keeping the educational and high entertainment value intact. It deals about the support of one minority for another, and ow prejudiced people just can be and tackles this with great humor, tho reality must have been a million times worse. Just great, a must see for everyone!

Similar in style to The Full Monty and Billy Elliot, this is the classic film to make you feel good and have a pleasant time, I applaud the seriousness with which they touch their subject, making it simple and digestible, interlacing it with certain doses of drama and comedy .
Pride liked me, because although the story is already decades old, its true message of tolerance is more than current.

Went into the movie not knowing much about the history of L.G.S.M. and though I wouldn't say what I "learned" was accurate based on the mostly paint-by-numbers underdog story, the movie was funny and entertaining when it wasn't trying for comedy.

It goes without saying to any moral person that this is a horrid movie. The only redeeming feature about this film is that Metacritic's critic review score list for it conveniently shows which media outlets should be boycotted, just look at the names of the mainstream media outlets which gave this movie a positive score. Then you'll know which left-wing media outlets to never read or support again.
