Postman Pat: The Movie is one of the best family films to come down the pike this year.

Sure, there are lapses in logic. But nice messaging, some zippy dance moves and a great use of the classic tune "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" end this charming, adult-friendly tale on a high note.

The plot is cliche. Let me tell you **** is a good film for kids, but boring to adults. Most kids around 2014 don't even know who Postman Pat is.I would recommend different movies. Spend you and your kids to Watch great movies such as Rio 2,Big hero 6,the Lego movie, Mr Peabody and Sherman,How to Train your dragons 2,or Penguins of ****'t spend your hard earned money this boring piece of crap. Don't even look at the ****'t get the DVD either.

Without much in the way of nudge-wink Pixar-style humour and pathos, mums and dads are less likely to be quite so enthralled.

Postman Pat: The Movie is a disappointment; a modern-day reinvention of a traditional, much-loved classic that differs so far from its comfort zone that it'll have a difficult time winning audiences, let alone maintaining there attention.

The 6-year-old I watched it with summed it up perfectly: “It starts out fun but then it’s kinda sad and scary. And sorta boring, too.”

Oh my god this ruins a classic kids tv icon (in the uk at least). Idiotic story about a talent show and is way to action based (That is just not what Postman Pat is. I think it is the exact opposite to the show) But there are some nice cameos to characters from earlier seasons of the show (just not Sam Waldron, my favourite character) and an amazing, relaxing intro sequence. That is the only good scene in this film
