This gory teen comedy blends laughably outrageous carnage with a legitimately scary plot to delightful ends. Throw in a winking fetish for cinephile culture and audiences are sure to go wild for the gutsy film.

It’s not for the easily offended or for the squeamish. Porno finds a way to make the disgusting laughable, and I feel that it’s meant to be a fun and slightly cheesy film.

Fangoria presents this cheesy genrefest set in 1992. The staff of a small theater find themselves targeted by a succubus they accidentally release by watching a mysterious film after hours. It takes them one by one exposing their secrets, seducing and than destroying them. I wish I could say that I loved it. With the kick ass poster and inspired trailer i expected more. It just never quite gets crazy enough and the awkward pacing is a bit distracting. That being said after a slightly drawn out set up it finally gets to some goods in the final third and it's kinda fun. I just wish they had the "balls" to go all the way. 6/10

Considering its theme, and considering the nudes, in the end this movie turned out to be kinda prudish. I think its weakness is that it never seems to be sure where to go for full horror and where to go for full comedy.
The mixture lent itself to being more acid, more perverted, but as I said, it seems that the director did not want to dare more. The acting is bad, but it was to be expected, however the script should have been stronger and more degenerate.
If you're encouraging yourself to make a movie like this one, dare to go all the way.

Porno belongs in the “hot and murderous butt nekkid lady” sub-genre of horror alongside “Species,” “Lifeforce,” and the film it shares its villain with, “Def by Temptation.” Like that 1990 Troma movie, this horror-comedy details the exploits of a succubus, a female demon who tempts men to their own destruction via the deadly sin known as lust.

[The film] is really little more than a collage of gag-worthy and violent attempts at comedy.

Unfortunately, Porno gets more uneven as it goes on, with a somewhat slack midsection and a mix of earnestness, broad comedy, titillation, and moralizing that neither fully gels, nor makes something unpredictably wild out of those clashing elements.

There's a lot in common here with "Sequence Break," Graham Skipper's shameless love letter to David Cronenberg's Videodrome - but that has so much more heart, and such better source material on which to riff. Instead, Porno is kind of a schlocky homage to Lamberto Bava's "Demons," the ultimate and original story of a bunch of schmoes locked in a cinema with a malevolent print.

Even if the sophomoric Porno doesn't make the grade, it represents a promising start for the talented filmmaker.

I think the concept has some comedic potential for sure but its just so boring and prudish
