It's all pure hokum, perfect for a Shirley MacLaine remake, but it's lovely to see Lafont carrying a film so effortlessly.

Paulette is not that interesting to see especially if you're on a car trip and you're planning to see a couple of movies on the go. Portable handhelds? Make sure you only see Paulette just to review it, otherwise, there's no purpose of seeing it.
