What's even more impressive about Osiris are its visual effects, which rival even those of some of the big-budget studio movies.

Kaufman keeps things moving at a brisk pace and delivers the sort of cheesy dialogue and story beats that you should expect from this dorky, but serviceable genre exercise. He’s a better action filmmaker than he is a straight-up dramatist, as you can unfortunately tell in scenes where the protagonists struggle to emote through visually and emotionally flat dialogue scenes.

Lately, I’ve been going into movies not expecting much especially if I’m intrigued with the synopsis and/or actors. Osiris did not disappointed. It was a good watch. I enjoyed the action and plot. It had the perfect hint of comedy. I would recommend this for a watch.

The story is simplistic and not too original. However, the worst is that this movie is shot in the following the absurd trend that darkness scenes should be realistically dark which means you can't tell what is happening. Since almost all actions scenes are in the dark most the time you have no clue what is happening, you just have to guess. This makes it boring if not unwatchable. Giving this movie a 3 is being very generous. If I'd seen this in a movie theater I would want my money back because it's sub quality.
