The derrickcomedy boys from YouTube have bust out of their shorts and into a full blown movie. This film is a ton of fun, and absolutely hilarious. In this movie they are basically full grown adults, who act like children, and are out to solve a full grown adult mystery. Donald Glover is an absolute legend, and went from a YouTuber, to a huge Hollywood star before that was a common occurrence. He even became a rapper as Childish Gambino. He has always made fine work, and this film is no different.

I loved this movie. Definitely not for kids as there’s a drawn out, but hilarious, topless scene in a strip joint. The movie is a perfect blend of edgy dark comedy and Scooby-Doo sensibility for someone who grew up watching a lot of TV shows about kid detectives. I really like how it’s not just fish out of water movie, but it’s grounded in reality with the people the main character interact with. The acting is fine, but the comic timing of Glover is fantastic. There’s also a good message about getting out and doing something with your life that, while a bit heavy handed, still comes across a genuine. If your into crude humor and love the idea of having a twist on “The Gang Getting To The Bottom Of Mystery” tope then you will enjoy this.

OMG, where to begin... I had been wanting to see this film for some time now. And now that I have, I can honestly say that it was... Something else, definitely not for everyone. And the characters were so damn ridiculous that they actually made my head hurt... But it did have it's moments.

One day, as a loser strolling through the avid contents of Youtube on a rainy Sunday night, my friend texted me and said to check out Derrick. I was expecting them to be another dumb group of wannabe stars, but I was pleasantly surprised with there clever writing and amazing timing. My favorites include "Bro ****" and "Jerry". If you enjoyed there videos, you will be laughing on the floor from some scenes in this cult comedy. the laughs never stop and these three (DC Pierson, Donald Glover, and Dominic Dierkes) have an immense amount of talent. Strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys breathing.

Im going to be honest. My favorite comedy movie. Great cast, I love these guys. Sorry if you were dissapointed, some people actually have a good sense of humor, sour puss..

With a great cast, this debut film from the classic comedy troupe, Derrick Comedy, gives everything a Derrick Comedy fan would want. While this was not meant to win an Oscar, negative reviewers either fail to see the success of this style of comedy, or have never seen (or enjoyed) their previous internet sketches. For what it is (and for what it tries to be, which is just a fun, clever comedy), "Mystery Team" is a wonderful movie with a brilliant cast.

Hilarious (in a childish sense), laid-back and absolutely ridiculous. The perfect mindless flick. Critics will hate it for its low cinematography but this movie not only hits the bar for funny but incremently raises it. Donald Glover is impeccable, hilarious, and yet does not take his role too seriously which just adds to the film's bravado. The jokes are endless, and the chemistry is on-point. I could not stop laughing. A movie to watch at any time of the day whether sad or happy. A great choice for an easy laugh.
