Gerwig is adorable, but that's both good and bad, as the movie can't stop cuing us to see that Lola's winsomeness will rescue her.

Lola Versus, great movie, but have some little problems. The trama is great, but have a bad development, and in some parts the movie is boring. The performances are cool, but not are the better point of this movie. Lola Versus is good.

Definitely plays to the female demo, but not a bad movie for a guy to earn points from watching it with that special someone. Great opening, but other than the soundtrack, nothing stood out. Standard good performance from Greta Gerwig and some nice supporting roles, but a bland though sometimes entertaining indie.

More than subverting or satirizing the modern lady-in-crisis movie, he has made a big, broad stoner comedy, shot and performed naturalistically, from a woman's point of view. Narratively, it's not a huge shock where the film ultimately goes, but there are a number of fun surprises along the way.

What's translated to film feels like a rough draft, with bullet points at beginning and end, demarcating Lola lost, Lola found. And in the middle? A vast, vague maw.

I have always believed that Greta Gerwig receives too much credit, more than she really deserves. Especially because many times her characters and her performances are very similar. This film doesn't change my opinion but reinforces it.
