I watched The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris with my fiancé and best friend, after the three of us flew from Malta to Bologna to see the tour live in 2025, so this film already carried some special memories for me. And somehow, it genuinely transported us back there. The colours, staging, live arrangements and sheer spectacle look incredible on the big screen, but Katy herself is what gives it heart. She’s funny, chaotic, charismatic and clearly having the time of her life, and that joy is infectious. I especially loved the stripped-back moments, where her voice really shines, and hearing Teary Eyes meant so much to me personally. More than anything, the film captures why live music matters: the memories, the escapism, the people beside you and those few hours where the world feels a little lighter. Bright, camp, joyful and full of heart, this feels like a genuine gift to the fans, but you don’t need to be a KatyCat to have fun with it.
